Even though he lost his bid against Pelosi, I'm now of the opinion any exposure is good exposure for Tim Ryan. I know some people think he's a paper tiger, but I'd be more worried of that being true of Cordray who has lost just about as many races as he's won.
I'm of the opinion that Ryan's whole run against Pelosi was partially based on giving him anti-Pelosi bonafides in a gubernatorial general election.

Again, I'm pretty sure his minority leader run was 99% based on that, with a 1% eye at becoming Minority Leader and perhaps Speaker eventually.

As above. The Dem slate seems to be building to:

Governor: Schiavoni
AG: Dettelbach
SOS: Clyde
Treasurer: Leland
Auditor: Ritenauer

Very NEOH heavy. Pillich for LG might be a good choice. More balanced geographically, and on gender.

How good a candidate is Schiavoni? I would imagine that Governor might help carry the other row offices.

In the wake of Senator Cliff Hite's resignation, state house leaders will be releasing a document detailing two-year's worth of sexual harassment claims at the state house. Term-limited Rep. Mike Henne (R-Clayton) is know to be featured. Other members are as of yet unknown. Henne plans on finishing his term.

Oh I missed this!

jesus lol

"Party of Family Values"

What a F**king joke.

My thoughts exactly. But aren't you a Republican?

Though, that said, it can't be assumed Democrats aren't also guilty. Sexual harassment in state capitals is a huge prroblem. Sacramento's sexual harassment problems were recently featured in some article I read, and it's obviously heavily Democratic over there.
I am honestly surprised that I haven't heard anything about sexual harassment in legislatures over here in Utah recently.

New piece in Politico, Cordray Gets Lukewarm Homecoming. Largely reflects what I'm seeing on the ground.
I'm not from Ohio, but I get the sense he waited too long, and too many other decent choices jumped in, so not a lot of Ohio Democrats want to coronate him.
