A friend of mine made Wyoming a 5 EV Dem state. It was an abomination with its capital in Salt Lake City.

Likewise, you can make Idaho a 9 EV D state if you move Seattle into it, resulting in a net 3 EVS for Trump (7 EV R state in new Washington).

You can now redraw 2016 by income. Shame you can't zoom in to click the smaller counties.

Inspired by LLR, the length of I-85 from NC on moved to Virginia. Would have made it its own state if it weren't for independent cities. Also, flipped two counties to give Clinton 271 EVs.

How many EVs in that Texas-to-LA state?

63. It has 42 million people.

Alaska moved into Hawaii, Baja Arizona = New Alaska.
Rest of Nevada moved into California, Clark County to Texas, Oglala Lakota = New Nevada.
Wyoming stripped down to Teton, Kansas stripped down to Wyandotte, Oklahoma stripped down to Lincoln and Creek.
Due to TN sucking up some NC counties to resolve the enclave, used FL to suck up some more TN counties. Got cocky, flipped the state, threw in a bundle more TX counties to make up for it, didn't work, said screw it, ceded eastern TN back to itself. Nnow FL is 51 EVs, and TX 55.

Good catch. It basically gives 3 free electoral votes to the Democrats.

What's amazing is that the map is a Republican electoral landslide, but a 2-point universal swing would probably result in a Democratic landslide, so the map may not work in other elections.

The 2012 results were a Democratic victory, 265-247, ftr.
