Which Western European country do you think has the best political spectrum, where the parties and their policies would appeal most to you?

For me it's:

Austria

Gotta go with the Netherlands. A surprisingly big amount of the parties is palatable to me.

Denmark. Austria, Switzerland, Finland and the Netherlands are also good.

OK, let's remove the political scenes where at least half of all political parties are criminal organisations or weirdo cults - Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Belgium (although the latter could qualify as a decent joke answer, owing to the sheer spectacular nature of its craziness). Remove Luxembourg because it's not a real country. Remove France because it's all a bunch of ruminating egos. Remove Austria because, ew, seiously? Remove the UK because it's all devolved into nonsensical dickslapping about entering or leaving or maintaining various unions, none of which is remotely of relevance to ordinary people. Remove Germany and Finland because they pride themselves in devolving all political parties into the same stodgy, incoherent mess of permacoalitions. Remove Switzerland because, whatever you think of direct democracy, the Federal Council model is a mess (and also its an evuh bankstah state).

That leaves the Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden. The Netherlands has a lot of parties, but none of them are great, so remove them. Sweden has decent politics, but the SD's place in parliament is causing a lot of weakness. So I'll go with David's answer of Denmark.
