Please post links to results from counties with detailed write-ins. They're just so damn funny. This is for Warren Co., NJ: http://www.co.warren.nj.us/Elections/Current%20Election%20Results/vote.pdf

My favorite entries from the results above include 'Godhelpus Wearelost ', 'Clintoniscorrupt Trumpisadunce', 'Theodore Roosevelt / Ronald Reagan', 'Taco Supreme / Nacho Grande'

You're looking for breakdowns for the unofficial write-ins not just the official ones, I take it?

Vermont breaks it down for the entire state. 11 people voted for Theo Epstein; hard to argue with that one. Only one vote for Harambe, and they couldn't even spell his name correctly. One vote for the formidable Phil Robertson/Ben Carson ticket. Frank Underwood picked up a vote as did the heroic Rick Grimes/Jon Snow ticket and the off-brand "Tyron Lanntsa." Someone actually spelled Benedict Cumberbatch's name correctly. Kshama "Swant" got a ballot.

Why are BERNIE SANDERS and BERNIE SANDERS listed seperately? (18,183 for one and 35 for the other)

Following this pdf from the SoS,

http://elections.cdn.sos.ca.gov/statewide-elections/2016-general/unprocessed-ballots-report.pdf

About a dozen counties have finished finished reporting, five of which have their write-ins listed by candidates. Some counties only count write ins of official write in candidates. Plumas County's pdf looks like they printed the document, used a typewriter to add in Sanders and McMullin, and then scanned that document and uploaded it.

Bernie Sanders/Tulsi Gabbard
Glenn 58 0.61%
Plumas 120 1.22%
San Francisco 1,342 0.33%
San Mateo 2,159 0.69%
Siskyou 269 1.31%
Tehama 139 0.58%
Yolo 844 1.03%
4,931 total votes so far

Evan McMullin/Nathan Johnson
Glenn 31 0.33%
Plumas 51 0.52%
San Francisco 226 0.06%
San Mateo 760 0.24%
Siskyou 104 0.51%
Tehama 82 0.34%
Yolo 256 0.31%
1,510 total votes so far

Mike Maturen/Juan Munoz
Glenn 2
Plumas 0
San Francisco 17
San Mateo 23
Siskyou 5
Tehama 3
Yolo 11
61 votes so far

Lawrence Kotlikoff/Edward Leamer
Glenn 0
Plumas 0
San Francisco 11
San Mateo 15
Siskyou 1
Tehama 0
Yolo 5
32 votes so far

Jerry White/Niles Niemuth
Glenn 0
Plumas 0
San Francisco 1
San Mateo 3
Siskyou 0
Tehama 0
Yolo 0
4 votes so far

No sense in dealing with percentages for Maturen, Kotlikoff, or White.

Total Votes from Counties with Write-Ins broken down: 868,692
Sanders: 0.57%
McMullin: 0.17%

Updated with Yolo County, 1:27 PM PST 11/28/16

Updated with San Mateo County, 6:44 PM PST 11/30/16

I've been compiling write ins from California in the linked thread. 7 out of 58 counties have finished reporting their votes and have given broken down results for write ins. They don't report the fun ones though. I might compile Washington's write ins too (or at least Sanders and McMullin).

New Hampshire has their results broken down by county. More interesting than CA's, but none of the "Turd Sandwich" votes of Washington.

Where did you find the write in results for WA broken down? I tried some of the counties, but they just took me to the state website that doesn't break things down (or even include write ins).

Getting visions of a hypothetical alternate election result where the decisive question in the decisive state ends up being whether write-in votes cast for "nasty woman" are meant to be counted for Hillary Clinton (thereby giving her the Presidency) or not (electing Trump).

Okanogan just sent it along when I requested precinct results.  Douglas did too, although their format is a mess.

Are you trying to get all of the counties or just a few?

The named write-ins?  I'm not trying for those.  I've just gotten a few of them incidentally.  I doubt many counties bother to keep them.  They're not required.

26 of 58 counties have their official write ins where I could find them. This is from yesterday. I'll take another look tomorrow at the remainders. Any that I don't find by next week will be getting emails/phone calls.

Bernie broke 2% (but not 2.5%) in Humboldt. There's a few other northern CA counties where he's broken 1%. McMullin has broken 0.5% in a few counties.

Will Jerry White get 55 votes? It could be close.

California certified their results:

http://elections.cdn.sos.ca.gov/sov/2016-general/sov/17-presidential-formatted.pdf

Mariposa doesn't have any write ins, which is odd. There's even a vote a piece for Sanders and McMullin in Alpine, which has far fewer people.
