If we pick the cherries, we can argue that Milton Friedman was left-wing

He was against the independence of the Central Bank
He had negative views on the use of too much mathematics in economics since 1980
He though that the microfoundations in macroeconomics were not necessary
He didn't believe in the rational expectations
He didn't agree with the real business cycles
He didn't agree with the Austrian School
He supported the legalization of the cannabis sativa
He was against the draft in Vietnam

The last two topics are not related to economic science, and many conservative economists agree. But in the other topics, he agrees with leftist economists.
