IT'S SO GOOD

Much better than Daisy. Daisy's negative response, I think, contributed some to Jesse Lacey's depression and writers block.

I am never not listening to this song.

This shit is really, really good.

Departures - Death Touches Us From The Moment We Begin To Love

I'm normally not a fan of screamo, but I haven't stopped playing this album.

oh my god YES. This album is so damn good. Love this band.
I'll be honest, I picked it up at my local vinyl place because the cover remind me of The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me. I do not regret it.

This album is pretty good, definitely isn't "screamo" though. Some form of Post-Hardcore sure, but not screamo. Now I'm not just being a pedant here, as I'm generally a fan of "screamo"/"skramz"/whatever you want to call it, I have some recommendations. Go and listen to some bands like Sed Non Satiata, Funeral Diner, the Saddest Landscape and Suis La Rune. Hell, go listen to some I Hate Myself and Indian Summer(err, well, some of their songs at least, in this context at least, all their songs are great) if you like the emotional post-hardcore stuff, but want to know what actual musical "screaming" is.
I will definitely check out all of these bands. Thanks for the recommendations.

Yeah, it's more melodic hardcore.

Best screamo bands: pg.99, Saetia, City of Caterpillar, The Saddest Landscape, Flowers Taped To Pens, Shizune, Jeromes Dream, iwrotehaikusaboutcannibalisminyouryearbook
And these.

I just discovered Nick Cave, and my borderline personality disorder definitely needed him:

I would highly recommend “Chekhov’s Hangnail” or “Goldman’s Detective Agency” off this album, but everything is great.

McCafferty's new album is great, except for the two songs they chose as singles.

McCafferty frontman Nick Hartkop had some sort of nervous breakdown in late March and the band went on hiatus on April 1 (which is a really, really bad day to announce that your band is going on hiatus). In honor of them, I've been listening to this awesome live version of Yours, Mine, Hours.
