The first Northern Assembly thread was four pages. The second Northern Assembly thread was two pages. We've almost reached the third Northern Assembly. Terms officially start on Friday, but I would encourage our Assemblymen to swear in earlier than that, draft bills, and take a look at the budget which we are still working on. Nominations for Speaker will also begin once every member is sworn in and I'll have to find a replacement Lieutenant Governor once darthebear is gone.

Everyone is sworn in. That's great. Terms officially start on Friday, but I want us to hit the ground running, so I'm opening the floor for Speaker nominations. If anyone has any idea about who the Speaker should be, please tell us in this thread. The only requirement is that they have to be an Assembly member.

Let's get some stuff done. We need to get citizens engaged in the legislative process and work on recruitment. Perhaps work on a bill for economic incentive to move to the region?

I proposed a ending of private prisons bill, and I will begin to write more pieces of legislation. I will begin with bill skeletons, in the hopes that the innovative nature of legislature turns skeletons into reform.

And as speaker, I hope I'm not picked as Lieutenant Governor.
