Dems decide to fight fire with fire and nominate billionaire media tycoon Oprah Winfrey.

Joe Biden is her VP. Discuss with maps

MI, FL and an outside chance at NC are the only states I could see her flipping, and it would have to be a perfect storm. Trump would have 10-1 odds here.

Let's take this seriously and say that Winfrey wins the primary as an urban liberal to the right of HRC on economics but to the left of Bloomberg, on the backs of her massive name rec, ad spending, and goodwill among urban and suburban voters.

She would have problems/smears due to her unmarried relationship with Steadman and her rumored lesbian relationship with Gayle King, but I don't think that'd be an albatross with the traditional winning democratic coalition in 2020.  There may be something in her business dealings that is shady that would surface.

Trump is viewed similarly to how he is viewed now, except slightly normalized among educated Republicans.  He takes MN, NH, ME ATL and holds WI, IA, OH due to changing demographics and the power of incumbency.  Oprah holds VA, flips MI.  The election is fought in NV, CO, FL, GA, NC, PA.  Lean Trump.

Oprah had a working class, impoverished upbringing. She has a mainstream celebrity figure that transcends party lines. She's probably the most mainstream African American figure in America besides Will Smith or an athlete.

Why wouldn't white female voters go for her over Trump?

True white women love her in fact all women do especially mothers. She has a good chance.

Now that would really get to Trump, his first choice for a running mate running against him.

Funny thing is, Trump once wanted her to be his VP candidate:
