According to these stories, Booker and Gillibrand wanted the US to veto the UN resolution that condemned Israel’s settlement building:

Haven’t seen anything from Klobuchar or Warren.  The only comment about them I’ve seen is from this Breitbart article, which lists them as not having commented yet:

True, but they lose Jewish voters in Boro Park, Brooklyn, Florida, etc. A lot of left-leaning Jews look like traitors tonight, and Friedman's words are looking more powerful by the day. Democrats have to choose: Muslim voters, Jewish voters, or a two-state solution.

This analysis is rotting my brain.

This won't happen unless they go full on support for something like BDS.

I want to congratulate you for being the first person in recorded history to ever write the phrase, "Friedman's words are looking more powerful by the day."

What a bunch of cowards. And hilarious that Feinstein must have accidentally taken the right side.

If you kinda sorta say Israel isn't above the law, you're a disgrace to the nation and an embarrassment you anti-sematic neo-nazi.

What?
Why the f*** is that the narrative here in the US?

I commend Booker and Gilibrand for their position.

I urge anyone having a position on the conflict to visit the region and then formulate an opinion.

Btw, while I don't think either Sanders or Warren have yet commented on either the UN resolution or Kerry's speech, both of them were among the 8 Senators to boycott Netanyahu's speech before Congress last year:

Didn't know Tim Kaine also boycotted. Gillibrand, Booker, Schumer etc are all in the pockets of donors, a large portion of whom are Jewish. You also have to account for the fact that NY has a large jewish population.

Bernie got a lot of sh**t in the primary for not throwing Palestinians under the bus, so his position should be obvious. Warren's isn't so obvious.

NY jews are liberals who support a two state solution. This "in the pocket of jewish donors and voters" is stupid.

The House voted 342-80 to condemn the UN resolution:

http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2017/roll011.xml

Republicans overwhelmingly backed it, while Dems were more split, with 109 Dems voting for vs. 76 against.  Gabbard voted against.  So did DNC Chair candidate Ellison, ftr.

There's a similar measure in the Senate, but no vote on it has been scheduled over there.

Looks like the Senate counterpart of this is being cosponsored by Gillibrand:

This resolution was pro-2 state solution though. So why didn't they back it?

The fact is, American Zionist Jews are pro-2 state solution in theory only. They don't advocate any policy that will actually lead to it happening in practice.  Anyone who is legitimately pro-2 state solution should be extremely hard line against settlements. Settlements are an attempt to force Israel to annex the West Bank.

This should be the way democrats should frame their support for such resolution.

Look, I'm all for being pro-Israel, but we can't just pretend that their breaking of agreements doesn't happen. Again, liberal Israelis want the resolution passed. Pro-Israel doesn't mean anti-Palestine and anti-rules. Israel made a mistake - they should be expected to deal with the consequences. I hope Sherrod Brown was smarter than these Senators.

Brown wanted Obama to veto the UN resolution:

I guess it's also worth noting that Justin Amash, who I still think might end up running for prez in 2020, was one of only four House Republicans to vote no.
