France and Germany, naturally, and while I think the election here in Chile will be a trainwreck of proportions given the quality of the candidates, I am pretty excited with the idea of the left going down in flames after the awful years of Bachelet II.

Nothing natural about being excited about Germany (a country without any realistic  alternative to its ruling party). That will most likely be a snoozefest.

Italy, if it happens. Nothing will be more satisfying than watching the PD go down in flames to the 5SM.

Netherlands because coalitions are fun.

France        (Le Pen is awful and must be stopped)
Germany    (Eh........ yea Merkel?)
Iran            (Well Rouhani hasn't done much but then neither has Modi.)
Hong Kong   (mainly due to Beijing's reaction if the pro-independence candidates do well)
New Zealand   (I liked Key, but I hope Labour comes back!)

Dutch coalitions are many things but saying they're "fun" seems objectively wrong...

Hong Kong   (mainly due to Beijing's reaction if the pro-independence candidates do well)

The CE election is an indirect election. The censorship implemented by the Electoral Commission would bar any pro-independence candidates from participating. Added to this, the pan-democrats are inclined not to send any candidates to the race.

For the LegCo by-election, no matter it is FPTP or multiple-seat proportional system, both pro-Beijing and non-establishments viewed it as a massive pro-Beijing wave. They will take 2 seats in FPTP and 3-4 seats in multiple-seat PS, as well as controlling both the functional constituencies and the geographical constituencies.

Well now I have one less election to look forward to. What a boring year (election-wise that is).
