Current Job, Another Job, & Endorsement: OH MY!

Hey y'all!


I, Representative OneJ, am delighted to share some news and updates with you all.

I'm very happy with my job as Representative. Major bills that have been passed so far include "Criminal Justice Act of 2016" sponsored by former colleague AZ, the "Gas Tax Act of 2016" sponsored by Senator LongLiveRock, and the "Federal Penitentiary Act" sponsored by then President Blair. Again, I'm quite satisfied with the work done so far and will continue to do some more as I seek reelection for the House.

Also, farewell to former colleague AZ, who will now be Deputy GM, as he was a great partner in the House. I wish him the best of luck on his new position. Shoutout to my current colleagues Peebs and Simossad for continuing to getting their hands dirty in the House! They've been absolutely amazing.

That leads me to my new teammate, former Assemblyman Drew! From what I've seen, he's been a pretty darn swell Speaker in Lincoln's assembly. I'm glad that Chairman Blair (hey that rhymes! ) decided to appoint him and I know he'll make a great addition to the House. Plus, I'm glad he's declared to run for reelection. Clyde has thrown his name in the race and I'm honestly pretty excited to have him join. He was a good Senator during his tenure and I'm satisfied. Hopefully, he, Drew, Simossad, Peebs and I will make it through and gain back control of the House again!

Let's move on to my new job! Y'all know, when I joined Atlasia in January, I did't expect much as I did not know a lot about it. I made a run for the Chamber and barely won a seat. There were some potholes along the road that I had to go through in order to make it this far. It's been over two months, and I'm truly thankful to be part of the Chamber of Delegates, part of the Porcupine, part of the People's House of Representatives (as well as being Minority Whip), and now being appointed by Governor NeverAgain to become the 2nd Southern Attorney General after Leinad (who unfortunately didn't get to do much ). I'm still actually awaiting on the Delegates' official thoughts to solidifu me as Southern AG, but things are looking pretty good so far. I'm ever so honored and grateful to not only hold be able to possibly hold this position, but also all the other positions. Thank you everybody! (Damn, I'm about to tear up!)

Finally, as I've said earlier in the speech, I am focusing on reelection. READ MY LIPS! NO OTHER ELECTIONS! That means no run for the Southern Senate. Also, I see that Peebs has exited what could've been a primary (for good reasons). That leaves me with no other choice but to endorse SJoyce for the Senate! Judging by his experience and views, I'd be crazy not to vote for him! So Southerners, y'all know what to do! The Senate race will be held on April 14 (@12:00 A.M. EST)-April 17 (@12:00 A.M. EST) and vote for SJoyce.

Governor NeverAgain has now appointed me to the Southern Constitutional Revision and Improvement Commission!

I'm very honored to take part in the Committee and I already have some suggestions popping up in my head. If any of you Southerners have any suggestions (especially name change suggestions), PM me please.

Address of the Birmingham Hate Crime

Greetings Southerners and other Atlasians.

Our hearts and prayers go out to Byran Greene and his family and friends of Birmingham, Alabama after a failed lynching occurred likely due to the color of his skin. It's been three days of care and he's still in critical condition.

This heinous crime shouldn't happen to any human being. I mean this is a child that we are talking about who experienced such violent treatment.

As a black person myself, it pains me to see how hate is still lingering whether it be between races, genders, ethnicities, socioeconomic statuses, etc. I would want to think that one day that there's no evil in the Southern region or anywhere else in Atlasia. But unfortunately people, we have to admit that evil is indeed a reality and we cannot run away from those problems in the narrow cracks of the ground. We need justice.

This is why I will be holding an investigation on this case in an effort to fight for the protection and rights of everyone. I care about everyone because I believe that everyone, no matter their ideology, sexuality, disability, etc., deserves justice.
