Here we go with the WMD again.

"This joint resolution authorizes the President to use the U.S. Armed Forces as necessary in order to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.

Congress declares that this authorization is intended to constitute specific statutory authorization within the meaning of the War Powers Resolution and that nothing in this joint resolution supersedes any requirement of such resolution.

Not later than 60 days after the date on which the President exercises the authority described in this resolution and every 60 days thereafter, the President shall report to Congress on the specific actions taken pursuant to such authority."

I honestly thought Trump would go after North Korea first.

It will be interesting to see who stands up to Trump and rattles the sabre first.

No cosponsors.  The resolution was introduced by Alcee Hastings [D-FL-20], most likely as bait for rabid Republicans, which they have for now been wise enough in the House to forego.  In short, a non-story.

Just give it a Republican introducing and it would have a genuine possibility of passing
