I'm shocked that 41% are falling for far-left propaganda and want the US to become an unsafe haven of terrorism and Islam.

Yougov/Economist has a new poll out that asks about various components of the travel ban individually:

oppose 29%

stop admitting Syrian refugees entirely
favor 38%
oppose 36%

stop admitting all refugees to the US for four months
favor 40%
oppose 37%

90 day ban on people entering the US from Iraq, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen

Not all of are craven cowards terrified by the pinpricks terrorists from the seven countries targeted by the EO have done to us.  Not all of us are ignorant of the fact that we already had in place stringent vetting of those who came here on refugee visas.  Not all of us are xenophobes threatened by that which is different.  Not all of us are willing to give up on treating each person on their own merits instead of by stereotypes.

Because those extra 20,000 would overwhelm us.  In 2013, 2014, and 2015, we admitted just a shade under 70,000 refugees each year. Totals for 2016 haven't been released yet.
