His profile says he was last active here a couple weeks ago, but he hasn't posted since before election night.  Did he just get sick of everything after the Annoying Orange started his reign?

I hope Xahar will be back eventually. As of px, good riddance to a smug moron.

Joe does his own thing, his way.  I miss him being around as well.  As long as he's well, it's all good.

That's the impression I'd gotten from Joe for a long time, honestly.

I do wonder if the list of posters who disappeared after election day would be totally different if Clinton had won instead of Trump.  E.g., I'm assuming that px would have stayed, while jfern would not have returned.

Polnut would have stayed had things turned out differently. But you can hardly blame him for leaving; it's almost insufferable now. Mainstream politics has embraced factlessness, so the senseless moron brigade is out in force, feeling redeemed, legitimized, and proud. The disgusting and deliberate political incorrectness (Roll Eyes) is just the rotten icing on the cake.

Tbh I've expected it to be much worse after the election.

There are certainly worse places to be than here for those of us who are not Trump fans.

And, on the other sides, smug elitist pricks like yourself who don't even pretend to give a crap about anyone outside the Bubble.

I don't really blame him. This election has brought out some of the worst in society with the election of someone so mindbogglingly awful that it hurts my head just trying to comprehend how people could be ok would even a fraction of what Trump is. I tried to tune out too, but I can't force myself to stop being obsessed with politics. At least not in any long-lasting, meaningful way.

It's much uglier on the ground, I assure you. In my head I agree with Antonio, but I can't deny that my heart is with Hagrid. This place is a refuge. Some of the Trump enthusiasts here are irritating and barely tolerable, but even they are uncharacteristic, and on the whole so much better, than the larger group of Americans whom they represent.

At least Seriously? didn't stick around. I expected him to become the most prolific poster if Trump won. Also, who was it that said they'd leave if Trump got anything less than 22% of the black vote?

I really wish we could avoid Trump's election and still get rid off trolls like him.

Agreed, although I'd argue there are more trolls now than before the election.

The internet has a way of bringing out the worst in people. I imagine that most of the irritating sorts on the forum (of both pro-Trump and anti-Trump persuasions) are more congenial people in real life.
