A combination of moderate and traditional liberal but I'm not protestant and I'm not old.

And considering "progressive activists" in that study are the outlier of people who think PC culture is a problem, I can see why I don't agree with a lot of people on this forum.

I got "traditional liberal" when I took the quiz. Not much of a surprise, given my distaste for outrage culture

"Moderates" minus the Protestant part with some "Politically Disengaged" attributes.

Me too. I lean a little to the right instead of being squarely in the middle of the road.

So they made a quiz under my nose. It claims I'm a "traditional liberal".

Apparently I'm a progressive activist, which also makes sense, I suppose.

Into which group does "pacifist" best fit? Sad

During the Vietnam era a liberal was someone who was against war,
so in that sense, I could call myself a progressive liberal.

I am certainly in favor of any true progress - a no brainer.

Republicans*, on some issues seem to want to go back to a mythical "better time"
when the US was "better".

*at least Trump Republicans.. moderate Republicans are becoming increasingly rare if not extinct altogether.. unlike moderate Democrats which are triving.

Tribalism is very much tied to Religious sectarianism.
Tribalism isn't as bad as it seems, because many people get along with those of other views.
This is less evident on the news media (CNN&MSNBC vs FOX which are very "tribal") and
on the internet. I don't think that the average person hates his or her neighbor based on religion,
partisan politics or even race. This is exaggerated by the big news media who focus almost exclusively on the negative. Does the average person spend all the time thinking about Trump?
If you look at the news or the internet it would appear so, but this is, I suspect, a fallacy.
