-Campaigning in Warren in Michigan, VP Haley touts benefits of free trade on the US economy as the Rubio Administration ratified free trade agreements with America's allies in Latin America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, India, thus encouraging America's status as the most competitive nation in the world economy and encouraging job creation in America through abolition of tariffs and the reduction of the corporate tax rate to 15 %, which resulted in the United States having free trade deals with 75 countries and in U.S. businesses being able to make direct investments into foreign economies to produce goods at a lower cost in these environments, thus making American products much more easily accessible for international consumers and strengthening our competitiveness. Haley takes on occasion to remind voters that President Rubio's free trade agenda helped to counterbalance China's trade power and helped America to regain its status as the world's largest auto producer, thus benefiting America's auto industry, including in Michigan. She then attacked Kamala Harris for voting against the American Continent Free Trade Agreement in 2018

AMERICA'S CHOICE 2024
STATE OF PLAY
2024 PRESIDENTIAL RACE
DEMOCRATS

Following her Victories during the June 7th Primaries California Senator KAMALA D. HARRIS declared herself the Presumptive Democratic Nominee for President in a Speech during an early Summers Night in Detroit, Michigan with Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer & Jocelyn Benson, the Frontrunner for the Democratic Senate Nomination to take on Senator John E. James, whom Harris endorsed during the Day in Attendance. The California Senator also thanked Illinois Governor Chris Kennedy and his spirited Campaign during the last year and a half and what he brought to the table. Harris reiterated that she was friends with Governor Kennedy before this Campaign and she will still be friends after it and vowed hand-in-hand to bring the Democratic Party together.

Senator Harris proceeded to campaign in the State of Michigan the next Day before campaigning in the States of Wisconsin and Minnesota the following Days.
All 3 States had been won by President Marco A. Rubio in the 2016 & 2020 Presidential Elections.

Democratic Presidential Primaries - Map and Delegates Count

Kamala Harris : 2512 delegates, 50 % of the vote ✔
Chris Kennedy : 1665 delegates, 42 % of the vote
John Bel Edwards : 228 delegates, 10 % of the vote
Bob Casey Jr. : 13 delegates, 4 % of the vote
Terry McAuliffe : 0 delegate, 0.5% of the vote
Andrew Yang : 0 delegate, 0.3 % of the vote

2382 delegates needed to win
4763 delegates in total

In the Days after Senator Harris wrapped up the Democratic Nomination for President her Campaign released a Short List of potential Vice Presidential Running Mate Candidates. It was noticeable that 5 of the 6 Candidates on that Short List were either Governors or former Governors with Sources believing that the California Senator would select someone with Executive Experience to balance out the Democratic Ticket. Vetting has been ongoing since late April when it became apparent that Harris would eventually become the Democratic Nominee for President. However no Time Line for an Announcement has been given with the Democratic National Convention now just 7 Weeks away. That being said Democratic Insiders pointed out that Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer being at the Detroit Rally was no accident. That was done on purpose.

CURRENT SHORTLIST OF Senator Harris' POTENTIAL RUNNING MATES
Senator Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota
Senator Roy Cooper of North Carolina
Senator Tom Wolf of Pennsylvania
Governor Chris Kennedy of Illinois [Her Rival during the Primaries]
Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota
Governor Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan

REPUBLICANS

Meanwhile for Vice President Haley Aides still believe that Pro Business-friendly Ohio Governor Mary Taylor is the Frontrunner to be selected but with the Republican National Convention not until August the Vice President seems to be in no rush to make her Selection known.

CURRENT SHORTLIST OF Vice President Haleys' POTENTIAL RUNNING MATES
Utah Senator Josh Romney
Texas Senator George P. Bush
Florida Senator Carlos Lopez-Cantera
Iowa Senator Joni Ernst
South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem
Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds
Ohio Governor Mary Taylor

CNN 2024 BATTLEGROUND MAP
HALEY VS HARRIS

CNN Battleground Map in the Electoral College undergoes significant changes after Senator Kamala Harris wrapped up the Democratic Nomination to become the Presumptive Democratic Nominee for President per CNN's Chief National Affairs Correspondent JOHN KING. CNN has moved the States of Nevada [6], Colorado [10], New Mexico [5] and Virginia [13] from TOSS UP into the Democratic Column vaulting the California Senator into a virtual Tie with the Vice President. Haley leads Harris by excatly 1 Electoral Vote 218-217. John King explains: What we have seen since Senator Harris wrapped up the Democratic Nomination and in new State Polls out of these 4 States that the Senator has a lead between 4-7 Percentage Points in each of the States we now have moved into the Democratic Column. Senator Harris increasing support is buoyed by Hispanic Voters who seem to give the California Senator more credit for overhauling the Nations Immigration System compared to the Vice President. The Democratic Party also has some structural Advantages heading into the Fall Elections with the Country essentially living under Republican Supermajority Control since the 2018 Midterm Elections with Republicans owning a Filibuster-Proof Senate Majority. Some fatigue is bound to set in. Senator Harris during the Democratic Primaries also managed to successfully treading the needle presenting herself in a bipartisan manner without abandoning core Democratic Convictions. It's definitly shaping up to be the close Election we expected it to be when we first polled a potential Match Up between Haley and Harris after the 2022 Midterms. We still have a long way to with potentially some twists & turns. Neither Candidate has given us any hard clues whom they select as Running Mate, we still have both National Conventions and then of course the Debates. This Race is off Historic Nature with potentially a Record Number of Americans casting Votes by November 5th 2024.

President Rubio's Speech in Normandy, France for the 80th anniversary of the D-Day Landings

Own creation

Location : Pointe du Hoc, France

Date : June 6th 2024

Thank you ladies and gentlemen, thank you my fellow Americans in uniform and thank you Allies for being here today in this day of celebration of freedom's victory and expansion.

For a long time, Normandy was a place of peace, prosperity, amusement. And the beaches where we stand today were frequented by hundreds of thousands of families with their children and these were wonderful and amazing experiences that these families would never forget to admire the beauty and wonderfullness of Normandy. But no one at that time would have imagined some crazy, oppressive and supremacist leader from the neighboring country would kill them if he could.

Then came a time of darkness, oppression, terror and war. Adolf Hitler and the Third Reich declared war to the Free World and they invaded Europe, took over and enslaved free nations, persecuted Jews in the camps. But Hitler's expansionist ambitions were stopped thanks to the courage, determination and steadfast leadership of Winston Churchill who stood on principles standing up to the Third Reich even in unpopular times, even in dark times, even in hopeless times while Churchill's political opponents painted him as a warmongerer and suggesting to explore the option of a negotiated peace settlement using the still-neutral Mussolini as an intermediary. But Churchill was resolved to fight on even after France surrendered because he knew that his country was the last barrier to Hitler's domination of Europe. That is why he created the War Cabinet to provide their troops the ressources necessary to defend their country and that's why he made it clear that his policy would be to wage war by sea, by land and by air, making the following famous declaration : "If you will not fight for the right when you can easily win without bloodshed; if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all odds against you and only a precarious chance for survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than live as slaves." And because the United Kingdom stood up to Germany through their resilience, determination and navy advantage over the Third Reich, they held the Nazi troops at bay, long enough to give the Allies, including the United States of America, to prepare the strategy and resources needed to liberate Europe.

And exactly 80 years ago, brave American troops along with our British, Canadian and French allies launched the operation clearing the way for the liberation of Europe : the D-Day Landings. Because of our faith to do what is right, because we knew that our country, our freedom and our democracy are worth dying for, we liberated the Normandy beaches at the cost of thousands of lives, giving hope to oppressed people in Europe clearing the path to the operations led by our troops liberating Western Europe until the heart of Germany, until the Third Reich's final defeat, putting an end to the deadliest war in the history of mankind.

But the full liberation of Europe was delayed by another global conflict triggered by evil ambitions of the Soviet Union to spread communism, oppression and dictatorship of the proletariat. And for decades, we confronted the Soviets at the military, diplomatic, political, cultural and technological levels. We even came close to a nuclear war caused by the deployment of Soviet missiles in Cuba. And fortunately, because of the leadership of another principled leader Ronald Reagan, we stood on principle standing up to the Soviet Union by promoting peace through strength while there were hundreds of thousands of demonstrators protesting against the deployment of Pershing missiles to Europe to counter the threat represented by Soviet SS-20 missiles while world opinion wanted Ronald Reagan to take a deal he had in Reykjavik. But under his leadership, America remained firm and determined his defense build-up, strong diplomacy, support to pro-freedom forces in Latin America, Africa and Asia and affirmation of leadership we went on to win the Cold War and to the liberation of the other half of the European continent through the reunification of Berlin and Germany and the restoration of freedom and democracy in this region.

Since then, our freedom was under assault time and again from radical Islamic terrorists who saw freedom of the individual, gender equity, freedom of the press and freedom of religion as obstacles to their objectives and so they declared war to the Free World. But we came together with our allies, including countries that were once ennemies but became allies throughout the years, to defend the values that we gave everything to defend for centuries. If the radicals and the forces of evil responsible of the 9/11 attacks, of the ISIS attacks on our soil in San Bernardino and Orlando or of the attacks in Brussels, Paris and Nice thought they could break our will to defend our freedom and the future of our children they did not know America and they did not learn the lessons of history. If the Nazis, the Soviets and the radical Islamic terrorists couldn't break our determination and conviction to do what is right, you can be sure that the forces of evil we face today never will. And because we stood on principle, we and our allies provided our men and women in uniform all the materials, equipment and resources they needed to combat radical Islamic terrorism and we defeated ISIS in Iraq, Yemen, North Africa, Afghanistan, Philippines and are about to do so in Syria. And we have eliminated ISIS' core leadership, took on their infrastructure, their training camps and their oil refineries, depriving them of all of the sources and infrastructure they needed to orchestrate their operations. Such progress has also been made possible thanks to the expansion of our alliances, including an expansion of NATO and our diplomatic initiatives convincing India and Pakistan, despite their past rivalry, that their common ennemy is radical Islamic terrorism and that defeating that evil is their common goal, getting them to normalize their relations and to send troops in Afghanistan to combat terrorism. And thanks to a combination of the might of the 1st and 4th military powers of the world (respectively the United States and India) we took clear advantage over Al Qaeda, ISIS and Taliban and liberated all the territory that they once occupied and fulfilled our mission to train the Afghan Armed Forces. As a result, we made our Afghan allies fully responsible for the security of their own country, we ensured that the two decades of hard work of our men and women in uniform after 9/11, including the restoration of freedom, democracy, gender equity, peace and stability in the Middle East would not be in vain. And such improving of the situation in the region allowed us to bring a successful conclusion to the longest war in which we've been fighting in our history and to end the combat mission in Afghanistan and to focus all of our sources and attention on Syria which will ensure our success there by going after ISIS and their leadership, by staying on offense, by modernizing our military, by supporting the reconstruction of Syria and by training the Syrian Armed Forces. And because we did so, our victory in the War on Terror is imminent.

And in the last few years, the threat of nuclear war has been drastically reduced thanks to the ratification of the Fissile Material Cut-Off Treaty that prohibits the use of fissile material for the building of nuclear weapons and weapons of mass destruction. That goal has also been made possible thanks to the effects of the sanctions on the old Iranian regime which led the Iranian people to protest against rising Iranian oil prices and inflation and led them to elect a pro-American regime and contributed to the denuclearization of Iran who is now using their uranium for economic purposes not for military purposes and has stopped sponsoring global terrorism, thus strengthening stability in the Middle East. And because we stood with our Eastern European allies, we stopped the expansionist ambitions of Vladimir Putin after they annexed Crimea, invaded Georgia and attempted a coup in Montenegro following this country's parliamentary elections. We stood for freedom in Eastern Europe by adding new allies inside NATO until Russia's borders and by providing Ukrainians in military equipment and training and helped them to victory in the War in Donbass and to reclaim Donbass and Crimea for Ukraine. And due to diplomatic and international isolation of Russia through international sanctions, to rising Russian inflation, the Russian people expressed its dissatisfaction towards the Putin regime and elected Sergei Polonsky, a man of conviction and compassion friendly to America, which put an end to 24 years of opression in Russia and restored freedom, prosperity and peace in that region as Polonsky's Russia moved the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet from Sevastopol to Sotchi, giving back Ukraine to Ukrainians, and withdrew Russian troops from Transnistria. Such accomplishments ensured that our world will experience a time of long-term peace and stability.

So history has taught us an important lesson : there's a difference between fighting for peace and surrendering for peace. The first option is the only path for enduring peace and freedom. As long as leaders stand on principles, as long as we stand with our friends and allies, as long as we provide our troops with the sources they need to defend the free world, as long as we are prepared to deter any potential threat, we can give peace a chance. That is why we are here to renew our commitment to our allies, to renew our commitment to peace through strength and to freedom. That's why we are here to renew our thanks for all those who fought and sacrificed for the preservation and expansion of freedom over tyranny and terror. And here, together, we renew our engagement of showing our brave troops, our freedom fighters, by our actions that their fight was not a lost cause. We renew our efforts to honor their courage, their memory and the principles for which our troops lived and died for.

That's why say thank you for all of our men and women in uniform and we say thank you to all of our allies for standing with us in this glorious fight. May God bless all of you.

Could you imagine a Presidents Play Wordle series where Marco Rubio plays Wordle with Barack Obama? (and possibly George W. Bush)

In reality, we have Donald Trump calling Joe Biden these names and saying how much pain he's on track of suffering.

This includes saying Biden is old, and Obama constantly tells Trump to stop calling people old, as he was born in 1946.

This is why I've preferred Rubio to him, as well as candidates like Haley and DeSantis.

Maybe in this hypothetical, we will have a President Haley, and Obama, Rubio, and Haley will play Wordle together.

I also find it to be a good possibility that Rubio and Haley would take Wordle more seriously than Trump and Biden.

As an example, Biden will guess Africa as a country, then Trump will guess Europe as a country.

Trump and Biden will also make up words. Biden may choose “icecream” or “tunasalad” as the word, Trump may choose “bmob” which is bomb spelled backwards. Trump’s said a lot that the word is either bomb or nuke.
