I would support the repeal of the foreign intelligence surveillance Act, assuming we have procedures in place for acquiring intelligence in case of imminent attack.



However, I do not support the closing of gitmo.

Guys the vote is on the above amendment H5:02, not the gender issue. It strikes the clause that guarantees everyone a chance at parole after 25 years.

The Federal Penitentiary Reform Act was just signed into law. Some provisions of this were included in that, like solitary for instance.


I would recommend reviewing this text and maybe removing overlap and expanding it as more of a supplemental approach to the now signed law.
