As the sponsor of this act, I believe that speed limit authority has not been fully confirmed in stone in this region. The best course of action should be to leave it to the states within the region to set fit what's appropriate for their respective states.

I support this legislation, as we would probably not want to go back to the days of the national 'double nickel'.  Our region has a wide variety of different road types, traffic conditions, weather conditions, urban/rural areas, etc. that would naturally demand different speed limits.  It is indeed best to let our states and municipalities set their speed limits as they see fit.

Of course, this is the best way to go in terms of speed limits. all of the states in the region have different terrain that should be dealt with by the states.

I see no problem with this. Given the diversity of the Lincoln roads, it's best to leave this issue to the states.
