Now that New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio has been cleared in a 2014 fundraising problem regarding the N.Y. State Senate, it is likely that he may win a second term. If he does go far, and runs for president in 2020, what is his electoral college floor? What is his EC ceiling?

Discuss with maps.

He'd do terrible. His ceiling is probably Hillary's states, his floor is Hillary's states minus Minnesota and Nevada. Maybe even worse than that.

He won't have a floor or a ceiling, because he won't win the nomination.

Why not? He has the tale of Two Americas message and he could win the black vote.

De Blasio is very unpopular in the city. I doubt he'll make it onto the presidential ballot.

Unfortunately, it doesn't they're getting Rudy 2.0 (unless they're smart enough to elect Bo Dietl).

I strongly disagree with this map. Vermont should be red.

Floor of Obama 2012, ceiling of A sweep except for MS, AL, OK, WY, WV, AR, ID, maybe ND, UT. But he could get UT under right circumstances.

355: Donald Trump/Mike Pence
183: Bill De Blasio/Elizabeth Warren

Give or take NJ, HI, and NM.
