Did anyone challenge Clinton for the nomination?

Great TL, just one nitpick- Trump seems way too knowledgeable and articulate here.

In light of the welfare reform and the India free trade agreement, I'd probably be inclined to support Feingold, even if I disagree with him on trade. Though, because Clinton is not running, I'd have to see where Gore or any of the other contenders stand.

Why would you oppose the India free trade agreement if you support free trade deals in general.

India =! Israel or Europe or Canada or even Mexico. The conditions in the labour market there, combined with the huge population, make outsourcing very comfortable, and I wouldn't be comfortable with it, especially since free trade with India doesn't seem like something that would considerably lower prices. Maybe if they reform their trade market, or if the agreement doesn't make outsourcing that easy, I'd support it.

Endorsing Gore right now. Can't wait to see how the election unfolds!

Well Hillary beat Obama in the Illinois Senate Primary here, so it will be Hillary becoming Illinois Senator.

He is still running for a house seat though, so his political career(nationally) while delayed is still not close to being over(if he wins that race).

Oh, I see. In that case... HowardDean2k8 would've probably been my choice (though I know you're planning another timeline).
