An incumbent down by 4 to 12% in a state where the natural bias is not in her favor..

She is at 42% in the RCP average....    Stick a fork in her.... she's done.

Using your logic, Rick Berg should have beaten her in 2012.

A more accurate statement about her present status should be that she's down but not out.

I'd say she's pretty much out. She was trailing before Kavanaugh and the ad scandal, and those two things have pretty much sealed her fate. I wouldn't be surprised if she lost by double digits.

this is probably bad news for Heitkamp. She needs gangbusters turnout in the east. On the other hand, the west is bad for Cramer.

You’d think after 2016 people would have learned to not read too much (if anything) into early voting numbers, but apparently not.

That's why I avoided adding any commentary to my post. I just wanted to show the early voting by region so people could see where the numbers are coming in from.

Oh I know, and thanks for doing this, I really appreciate it. I was thinking about doing something similar for MT (like I did in 2017), but we’ll see.

It's because Heitkamp voted No on Kavanaugh.

No, it's because North Dakota is one of the most Republican states in the country.

No, it's because Heitkamp has ran a terrible campaign and Cramer has run a strong one.

Yes, ND is red, but so is WV, and Manchin is smoking Morrissey.

Yep, if/when/if Cramer wins, it wont be because of Kavanaugh, it will be because its ND.

No, it's because North Dakota is one of the most Republican states in the country.

Mostly the second one, with a pinch of the first, and a small helping of the fact that she just got massive amounts of negative press for accidentally publishing the names of sexual assault survivors without their permission. It's funny Atlas thought wouldn't matter. Democrats are held to a far higher standard than Republicans, especially in red states.

Now that I think about it, will that last till election day? I mean, Kavanaugh has already kinda died after just a week and a 1/2.

Which is why Menendez will lose while Moore won.

What is it with Republicans comparing corruption with pedophila?

Because Menendez is accused of pedophilia as well?

Have Kevin Cramer whacked and hope that voters don't want to vote for a dead person.

Unsarcastically and unioronically, go all out with ads and mailers of Cocaine Mitch talking about how he's going to cut medicare and social security after the election.

That's bullsh*t. She was down by comparable numbers before announcing her vote.
