Should I have voted for the man who can't decide to bomb or the woman who vowed to bomb from day one?

i would still prefer the lady who seems focused enough to organize such a thing but in your shoes? mister johnson.
Who also wanted open borders, free trade, and refugee resettlement? No. The 2012 Gary Johnson maybe, but not the 2016 Gary Johnson.

Sorry grandpa, but "delete your account" was not invented by HRC's social media team. It's been part of interwebs for many years now. Time for you to go back to yelling at clouds again

For the sake of Syrian people, I hope this doesn't escalate into full scale US involvement in the syrian war. Assad may or may not survive the new onslaught but the Syrian people will definitely be worse off even if they are in a pretty bad situation right now

I expected to spend this part of the Trump presidency tweeting that it's legal to deport anchor babies not arguing agst another Mid East war

needless to say, this should not surprise anyone with mister "kill their families"

Honestly this will probably only be a very limited strike against specific targets, ideally where there is no confirmed actual Russian personnel presence. Kinda like the Israeli strikes.

He's got a long ways to go to equal the amount of Muslims his 4 predecessors killed.

Makes sense if he's authorizing via DDGs and CGs. Cruise missiles avoid a lot of the mess that conventional carrier based air strikes carry with them, key would be minimizing CD.

No, but I do expect him to take us to "the red line" like Obama did, only to back down under pressure from the base. CNN is acting like they did the day we went into Libya. I hope Trump's gut instincts are stronger than those of his advisers, because he knew in 2013 that this doesn't justify an intervention and I pray he knows it now.

I'm embarrassed, for the first time, about this administration's handling of this. Just a few days ago, the "official policy" according to Tillerson and Trump was to retain Assad in power. Now they want to go in and overthrow him. I didn't vote for this. I'm also unrepentant in my belief that Assad would have been gone thirty days ago and American troops would be dying by the hundreds had Hillary had won.

Foreign policy wise, we might not be having it as good as I've thought. Fortunately illegal entry to the United States is at a record low, the economy is continuing to improve, and NAFTA, TPP, and the refugee policies have generally been successful.

I say we let Putin handle this. Put the whole mess in his lap. "You did this, you fix this" sorta deal. He won't, but it'll send a message to Putin.

When life comes at you fast.

FWIW the operations under discussion seem to be cruise missile oriented rather than planes

NBC News: Only tomahawks missiles fired, no fixed wing aircraft involved

we got a winner.

Really Trump? You pick fights with the media over the most stupid issues, but now that it matters you cave to pressure from the humanitarian bombers? WTF?

Looks like I underestimated Trump. I thought he'd be a Russian puppet who admires murderous dictators.  Now he is bombing Assad?! That puts him above Obama on this issue at least.

i am thrilled to learn how trump was persuaded and by whom.

with a bizarre character like him, EVERY explanation could be possible, from being roleplaying "a tough guy" to "trying to bring that russia story to rest".

This was very stupid and reckless. As bad as a no-fly zone? No, but that is obviously where we are heading,
