Will the gays become the new jews for the far right?

Until the first half of the 20th century, the far right used to hate the jews. Since Marx, Lenin and Trotsky were ethnic jews, the jews were related to communism. The zionist movement had a lot of leftist supporters. However, after the creation of the state of Israel in the context of the Cold War, the capitalist world supported Israel while the communist world supported the Arabs. Israeli politics became increasingly right-wing. The most right-wing politicians in the western world are the most pro-Israel politicians. Israel is one of the few countries outside the USA in which most of the population prefer that the republican candidate win the US presidential election.

The Right used to be strong anti-gay in the past. Since the hate against the homosexuals became unacepted by the society, the Right created a new speech concerning them: "we don't dislike gay individuals, but the LGBT movement went too far away". But nowadays, the solidarity with the gays can be used in the anti-Islam speech. So, the number of pro-gay far right politicians is increasing. Many gays are supporting Marine Le Pen.

Your post seems to be dealing more with the mainstream right than the far-right.

What's interesting is that the alt-right is actually divided on this issue.  There are some gay alt-right figures and some people are saying that "homophobia is Jewish."  To them, anyone who is white and not Jewish who is willing to bash immigrants is an ally.

They aren't pro-gay tho, just cynical opportunists.
