 What rural areas  in the south and lower midwest (NE,OK,ND,SD,MO) can you see can you see dems improving in 2018 & 2020?

Not many at all. Maybe some just outside of cities (ruralish suburbs) but that's about it. If Trump really tanks down to the 20s or so in approval then it's another story.
