Kasich is a consistently hard-line conservative (on most major issues, including "Culture War" issues e.g. abortion and LGBT rights) Republican with a nice
Midwestern veneer. Just because he's not an opportunistic racial populist who built his political career around concern trolling about birth certificates and an alleged epidemic of violent Mexican criminals doesn't mean he's not a conservative. But obviously most Republican voters these days are only in it for the demagoguery, so he's an Establishment RINO cuck by definition.
