I think Jones wins bigtime in Birmingham and its environs and takes Madison, Conecuh, Barbour, Clarke, and Monroe. He definitely does better than Hillary both in Shelby, Morgan, Limestone, Lawrence, Colbert, Mobile, Tuscaloosa, and Talladega counties.

I don't think this hurts Jones. If anything it reinforces his message of "Moore is embarrassing".

A write-in campaign of another republican here would mean a Democratic victory here if they votes aren't split in a lopsided manner. The Alabama electorate is just too inelastic.

Alabama Republican are also very partisan this is different from Louisiana in 2015.

Are they really that much more partisan than Louisiana Republicans?
