Marco Rubio Campaign Ad

Marco Rubio's presidential campaign broadcasts a T.V. ad about Rubio's plan to create economic opportunities for Hispanics.

The ad titled « Hispanics for Prosperity » airs in Nevada, Massachusetts, Oklahoma, Texas, Florida, Illinois, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, New York and New Mexico both in English and Spanish.

« Hispanics for Prosperity » advertisement narration (English version) :

The Obama Administration has been ineffective when it comes to ensure permanent job creation for the American people, including Hispanics. We need to give Hispanics the opportunity to learn English while maintaining their language and cultural heritage in order to open up economic opportunities for them, because I believe we should not close these opportunities for any of our fellow citizens because their first language is another one than English. School choice will give positive results to Hispanics : lower education costs for families, including immigrant families living paycheck to paycheck, production of higher outcomes, in contrast to public education. It allow parents guide their children out of poorly-performing schools assigned by zip code and grant them better education elsewhere. It will expand opportunities for low-income students—notably minorities—to attend high-quality schools that would otherwise be accessible only to high-income families, thus giving them a fair chance of success and an easier path to the workforce.

By promoting free trade with Latin America, we will give our businesses, including Hispanic small businesses in the United States thanks to language opportunities and their fluency in Spanish and English, new opportunities to innovate, to increase their competitiveness, to get new consumers by giving them access to American products, to create jobs in our country and ensure their business' expansion. Thanks to their bilingualism, Hispanics will be dominant among the importers, exporters, translators and executives who ensure such a cultural and commercial exchange. And like I said, our innovation and competition capacity comes from our open markets as well as our constant quest for new markets.

Thanks to my pro-growth agenda to open economic opportunities for Hispanics and create jobs for them, this large community will earn the same opportunities as any other American, because America is the land where everything is possible for all Americans from the bottom to the top.

I'm Marco Rubio and I approve this message.

Jerry Moran Campaign Ad

Ad titled "Fight to Win" airs in Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Georgia and Minnesota.

Jerry Moran speaking directly to camera:

You know, I visit with American voters all the time and the most common conversations I have these days is not about the price of gas or a grant for a local business. They say, "Jerry, I'm worried about the future of our country. What is it going to be like for my kids and grandkids?" There is an anger, a frustration, a genuine fear about where our nation is headed. About politics, really about politicians who have let us down.

Why have we let the insiders, those who are happy with the status quo, take the front seat? While our Conservative values: changing course, stopping the president taken the backseat.

You know for me public service has never ever been about going to Washington D.C. to make friends with the power brokers or the ambitious title seekers. I fly back to the capital to stand against those who spend recklessly, surrender continually and tax repeatedly. And I've done that not just with this president but also my own party who have retreated from our values. But we still have an awful lot of work to do. The stakes for our children and grandchildren couldn't be higher. That's why I'm running for president of the United States.

And I'll be clear about this, we don't do this for a title, we don't do this for a sign on a door that says United States president. Rather its a belief that we can and must return America to a country that is different and better than it is today. You and I have have been asked to do something with our lives that truly makes a difference. To rise to a higher calling, we know this is calling, its something we feel down deep inside us.

It is the demand that is on us as American citizens, as Conservatives. We can't look the other way, can't turn it over to somebody else and can't quit. So today I am asking you to stand with me, to not quit and to double those efforts not just merely to continue the fight but to win it.

I'm Jerry Moran and I approve this message.

Interluded with text describing endorsements and major campaign promises such as ending the filibuster, defunding Planned Parenthood, opposition to amnesty, opposition to the ACA, battling Obama on Gitmo and endorsement of two of the largest pro-life groups in the country.

STEPHEN PEARCY CAMPAIGN COMMERCIAL THAT AIRS NATIONO

*A screen appears*

So why do people support Percy's economic plan?

Person 1:Cause his plan for balance budgets and flat tax reform will make the economy boom and help middle class voters like me.

Person 2:I think he will be very bipartisan  and I believe he will work well along with Republicans and Democrats to get whatever he wants.

Person 3:He actually cares for the working class and wants to help it and doesn't want to do that to Goldman Sachs and Wall Street

Person 4:His economic plan is the most conservative since Ronald Reagan. Yes I went there.

Person 5:Cause he wants to freeze spending on the NSA  and use that money to get us to Mars

Those are just a few. Are you one?

I'm Stephen Percy and I approve this message.

-Fly to Washington DC to conduct Senatorial duties

@NationalNurses: America needs a single-payer system now; it is much more efficient and cost-effective than our current system. Thus, we are proud to endorse Senator Bernie Sanders for President!

Surrogate schedule:

-Senator Leahy, Governor Shumlin and Former Governor Lynch will undertake a week-long tour of New England, shoring up Bernie's support in Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut

-Mayor De Blasio will be stumping for Sanders in New York City, as well as organising the campaign in the state

-Congressmen Ellison and Conyers, joined by USW President Leo Gerard, will continue their focus on the industrial states, focusing on Michigan, Ohio and Indiana. In addition, they will make several stops in Minnesota to shore up Sanders' support there

-Senator Baldwin will be heading campaign efforts in her home state of Wisconsin, drawing a contrast between Governor Walker's anti-worker policies and Sanders pro-worker policies

-Governor Dayton will head up efforts in Minnesota, in particular campaigning in rural areas of the state, emphasizing the pro-farmer planks in Sanders' platform

-United Steelworkers will begin mobilizing their political machine in all major industrial states

-The Progressive Caucus will begin fundraising efforts for the Sanders campaign. It is expected that being the largest caucus in Congress, they will be able to rake in a considerable amount of small donations for the campaign

Summary: Sanders largely focused on organising his campaign over the two weeks, building his campaign in Nevada, Wisconsin and South Carolina, where he conducted another bus tour through to the state to meet with voters. Sanders also received the formal endorsements of Russ Feingold, Robert Reich and Jay Inslee, which he hopes will give him credit among mainstream Democrats. The end of the week also brought a pleasant surprise as National Nurses United, the largest nurses' union in the US, endorsed Sanders for President.

PERCY SPEAKS IN 4 MAIN STATES IN ONE DAY AND STARTS HIS GOTV Opernation
MSNBC.com

Despite a dropback in the polls Stephen Percy still isn't slowing down. Percy campaigned in the morning in Iowa in Des Monies to local farmer unions while heading to campaign with his daughter Jewel in South Carolina about tax reform in Myrtle Beach in the afternoon.

In the wee hours of the afternoon Percy campaigned on the border of Cailforina and Nevada in Carson City with his wife  Melissa Percy about Healthcare.

And at night he campaigned in New Hampshire about in a session about balancing the budget and legalizing marijuana.

His supporters compared him to the Energizer Bunny saying he keeps going and going as the day goes on.

(Percy campaigning in New Hampshire)

Another thing Percy got out there was his GOTV operations which will be helped by his family and his die hard supporters to get out and vote in the primaries.

Next Round: August 17-31st

Republicans Primary

The Republican Primary saw some movement this week: Marco Rubio, continues to lead as the front runner, netting some major endorsements including, Mitt Romney, Ted Cruz and Kelly Ayotte, but other candidates Jerry Moran and Steve Percy, showed they are looking to be more than asterisks in the 2016 race.

First, Moran began blitzing the airwaves with a message brandishing his conservative credentials and aimed at voters in the early primary states, especially in Iowa, where Moran has seen an uptick in support. For Moran a win in Iowa is essential to the viability of his presidential hopes, and his conservative message seems to have the most resonance in the first Caucus state.

Moran received a major boost by finishing third in the Iowa Straw Poll, conducted during the Iowa State Fair. While not as publicized as the former GOP Straw Poll - Moran's showing, ahead of Rand Paul gives him some new talking points and signs that his campaign is gaining ground.

Next, Steve Percy received the endorsement of Donald Trump. Trump, who called the long-shot candidate 'who will make America great again'. Pundits and experts still give Percy little chance at winning the Republican nomination, but the outsider is determined to make a splash and outlast all his opponents. Percy did make a splash, like Moran in the Iowa Straw Poll. He finished a surprising second, behind Marco Rubio.

Last, Senator Rand Paul, who is seen by many as the "Anti-Rubio" candidate, with many predicting the race will ultimately narrow down to those two. However, for Paul, despite his second place showing in national polls has failed to find his footing thus far. Paul's campaign continues to make the rounds, crisscrossing the country, but so far his strongest bench of support is found in New Hampshire. A new WMUR poll finds him ahead with 38%.

New Endorsements:

Jerry Moran:
All 4 Kansas House members. Kevin Yoder, Lynn Jenkins, Ron Estes, Tim Huelskamp.

Reps: Paul Ryan, Ben Carson, Kevin McCarthy, Gov. Sam Brownback, Gov. Greg Abbott, John Former Gov. Engler.

American Farm Bureau Federation

Marco Rubio:
Mitt Romney, former Massachusetts Governor and 2012 Republican presidential nominee, should endorse Marco Rubio due to his economic credibility as a member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship and as a member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation, which gives him the best experience to create jobs.

Tommy Franks, retired general, endorses Marco Rubio due to shared support to a stronger American leadership on the international stage.

Rick Scott, Governor of Florida, endorses Marco Rubio because they are both from Florida and due to shared views on economic, social and foreign policy issues.

Steve King, Iowa Congressman, endorses Marco Rubio due to shared views on economic, social and foreign policy issues.

Ted Cruz, Texas Senator and former 2016 presidential candidate, endorses Marco Rubio due to shared views on economic and social issues and also due to their shared opposition to abortion at every circumstance.

Tommy Franks, retired general, endorses Marco Rubio due to shared support to a stronger American leadership on the international stage.

Kelly Ayotte, New Hampshire Senator, endorses Marco Rubio due to shared views on free trade and foreign policy issues and their shared intentions to keep guns away from terrorists and from suspected terrorists.

Joe Heck, Nevada Congressman and Senatorial candidate, endorses Marco Rubio due to shared views on economic and foreign policy issues and also because Heck is ready to reverse Harry Reid's record of ineffectiveness as Senate leader and to pass Marco Rubio's laws if the Florida Senator becomes President.

Steve Percy:
Donald Trump, Alex Jones,Thomas Sowell and 50 Cent

Rand Paul
Former Director David Stockman of the Office of Management and Budget - David Stockman is described by many as a Libertarian, he already said good things about Rand Paul and agreed with him in foreign policy.

Former Representative and Libertarian Party Nominee, Bob Barr from Georgia - Bob Barr is a libertarian with some conservative leanings, he has ideas similar to Rand Paul in areas like the PATRIOT Act.

Democratic Primary

Senator Elizabeth Warren and Vice President Joe Biden remain the favorites for the Democratic nomination, as both racked unveiled big name endorsements as the month of August draws to a close.

Sen Sherrod Brown of OH: "During my time in the Senate, I've seen how Biden has been a workhorse for the issues that really matter to the common man. If he keeps this up as President, then he'll be a great one."

Fmr. Sen. Sam Nunn of GA: "I know quite a lot about foreign policy, and I want a strong commander in chief. Thus, I can tell that when it comes to foreign policy, Biden is the strongest candidate no questions asked. He's been involved with it for 40+ years!"

Fmr. NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg: "I always said that productivity beat ideology. It's clear in this race that the VP is the most results-oriented candidate out there. Because of that, he'd serve as the best President for all Americans."

Labor activist Dolores Huerta: "Never have I seen a candidate more kind to, and understanding of immigrants and laborers and their struggles. I endorse Joe Biden knowing he will protect immigrant and protect unions!"

However, Warren too unveiled some big name endorsements: Gwen Graham, Kathleen Sebelius, Janet Napolitano, Gavin Newsom, Harry Reid, Joseph Kennedy III, and Caroline Kennedy.

Yet, as the two favorites compete for votes, Senator Bernie Sanders is proving all the star-power and infrastructure does not always translate into vote. The Vermont Senator has received some endorsements including Former Justice John Paul Stevens and Governor of California Jerry Brown. Even the band Green Day threw their support behind the self-described Democratic- socialist.

However the biggest boost for Sanders came when he won the Iowa Straw Poll by a huge margin, defying expectations. The straw poll did not receive much focus in the state this year, but Sanders' unexpected blowout win is sure to send shockwaves through the Democratic primary.

While Biden and Warren trade punches on Democratic policies, Bernie Sanders seems to be the one shaping the conversation. A political independent, Sanders has no ties to the Democratic Party, but his presence and ideas are driving the debate and forcing the Democrats to have a real discussion on their policies and party future. A long shot for the nomination, Sanders is seen by many to having the biggest impact on the race.

Iowa Straw Poll: Results
Bernie Sanders: 44.00%
Elizabeth Warren: 27.55%
Joe Biden: 27.34%

Stephen Percy on social media on Cuba

If we want to help Cuba rebuild and start trading things again. We should have a real free trade
individual agreement and not the corporate friendly so called free trade NAFTA.

Marco Rubio's schedule August 17-August 31 2015, Part 1

Thank you New Hampshire.

Time has come to put an end to a quarter-century of big government and to encourage free market and free enterprise in order to promote economic freedom, competitiveness and economic prosperity.

I spent 25 years in the private sector and I know what it takes to get small business growing, to create jobs and to make America working again to make it the best place in the world to open a new business. Marco Rubio lived the American Dream and he understands the meaning of hard-working. He's a member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship. He understands what it takes to grow the economy, to create jobs and to ensure permanent economic prosperity in America.

Marco Rubio lived the American Dream and he understands the meaning of hard-working. He's a member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship and of the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation. He understands what it takes to grow the economy, to create jobs and to ensure permanent economic prosperity in America. That's why I endorse Senator Marco Rubio to be the next President of the United States.

[Applause from the audience]

He will do so by cutting taxes for all the American people and by leading us to energy independence through taking full advantage of our oil and coal and gas and nuclear and renewables. As President of the United States, Marco Rubio will give our fellow citizens the skills they need for the jobs of today and the careers of tomorrow. When it comes to the school your child will attend, every parent should have a choice, and every child should have a chance. President Marco Rubio will make trade work for America by forging new trade agreements. Just like me, he knows that job creation will increase wages, which will help us to reduce our deficit and to balance the budget. President Rubio will champion businesses of all sizes, including small business, America's engine of job growth. He will reduce the cost of doing business in America, which will make America the best place in the world to start a new business.

He will defend with ardour America's status as the strongest economy in the world and he will restore the American Dream on the land of opportunity.

Thank you. God bless America.

August 18
-Meet with voters in Merrimack, New Hampshire
-Rally with voters at the Merrimack Premium Outlets in Merrimack, New Hampshire with Kelly Ayotte who announces his endorsement to his colleague Marco Rubio :

I'm the wife of an Iraq War veteran and former A-10 pilot who flew combat missions in Iraq and fought terrorism with pure patriotism. Now he's the owner of a snow plow business here in Merrimack, creating jobs and pursuing happiness in his quest for the American Dream. I understand the values that make America a safe, strong and prosperous nation : strong national defense, solidarity, free market and opportunity. And I am proud to defend these values in the United States Senate alongside my colleague Marco Rubio.

Marco is the best candidate to grow make our economy strong and to make America's national security strong. He will cut taxes to allow a stronger purchasing power for all Americans and to help businesses to start, to expand, to create jobs and to succeed. By promoting oil drilling here in America and getting our country to energy independence, President Rubio will not only ensure job creation and American advantage on all of America's sources of energies but also deprive terrorists of the necessary revenues to organize terrorist attacks and deprive Iran of the necessary funds to develop nuclear weapons that would strike us, attack our allies and destroy Israel. By modernizing our military and strengthening our alliances, he will lead us to victory against radical Islamic terrorism. Marco Rubio has all the experience to accomplish this agenda and that's why I support him for the presidency of the United States.

Thank you. God bless you, God bless New Hampshire and God bless America.

-Rally with voters in Boston, Massachusetts with Mitt Romney who gave a speech promoting Marco Rubio's presidential candidacy :

When I became Governor of Massachusetts, 87 % of the legislators were Democrats. I did not demonize them and I didn't demagogue them. Time and time again, I brought Republicans and Democrats together in order to put partisanship aside and to get things done for the good of Massachusetts. Thanks to this leadership, I found common ground and balanced the budget four times without raising taxes and we provided health insurance for Massachusetts.

Now we have a chance to elect a President who will bring Republicans, Democrats and Independents together in order to get things done and ensure a bright future for America, but this time in Washington. Marco Rubio will get us to energy independence without hurting the environment by increasing oil drilling, using a part of oil revenues to invest into the development of renewable energies. We all know, no matter our party affiliation, that everyone should have access to education, which means reducing the cost of getting education. Marco Rubio knows this and that's why he will promote school choice which will cost families, including these immigrant families living paycheck to paycheck, less and produce higher outcomes compared to public education. It will grant parents the power to orientate their children out of poorly-performing schools assigned by zip code and look for better education elsewhere. It will expand opportunities for low-income students—especially minorities—to attend high-quality schools that would otherwise be accessible only to higher-income families, thus increasing their chances of success and of entry into the workforce.

That's why Marco Rubio will be the President of all Americans whether they are Republicans, Democrats or Independents just like I was Governor of all Massachusettsians.

Thank you, God bless the United States of America.

Schedule for Elizabeth Warren

August 17, 2015

Meet Voters in Center Harbor, New Hampshire (With Maggie Hassan, Ed Markey and Paul Hodes)

Meet Voters in Sanbornton, New Hampshire (With Maggie Hassan and Carol Shea-Porter)

Meet Voters in Henniker, New Hampshire (With Maggie Hassan and Niki Tsongas)

Appearance on The Rachel Maddow Show, from Henniker, New Hampshire

Senator, you finished second to Bernie Sanders in the Iowa straw poll, despite camping out there for two and half days. What happened?
Well, Senator Sanders clearly has a strong base of support behind him, and he'll be difficult to beat. But in both the Republican and the Democratic fields, the straw poll and caucus winner has not always gone on to win the nomination. I have every reason to believe I will emerge victorious at the end of the process.
On another topic, lately you've gotten into several scraps with Vice-President Biden about his record in the Senate. Do you believe this will help you?
I think it was David Axelrod who said that the longer you serve in the Senate, the more votes on hot-button issues you have. The Vice-President has cast a lot of votes on a lot of hot-button issues, and as a result he's going to have to answer for that. If he can, good for him, but if not, he's going to face a battle with Senator Rubio, Senator Paul or Senator Moran in the general, and they've all got far fewer weak points than he does.

August 18, 2015

Meet Voters in Wilmot, New Hampshire (With Maggie Hassan, Ed Markey, Deval Patrick, Stephen Lynch, and Jim McGovern)

Meet Voters in Andover, New Hampshire (With Maggie Hassan, Paul Hodes, Carol Shea-Porter, Ann McLane Kuster, Dick Swett and Joseph Kennedy III)

Speech in Franklin, New Hampshire (With Maggie Hassan and Martha Coakley)

Michael Bloomberg's endorsement of Vice-President Biden is more proof of his hypocrisy on financial issues! Bloomberg is a plutocrat worth over $47.5 billion, and he will spend to help Biden. I wonder how much this oligarch is going pay to buy our nomination, or the Presidency for his favored candidate?

August 19, 2015

Meet Voters in Parkersburg, Iowa (With Tom Harkin and Chet Culver)

Meet Voters in Greene, Iowa (With Tom Harkin, Amy Klobuchar and Chet Culver)

Speech in Charles City, Iowa (With Tom Harkin and Amy Klobuchar)

Senator Sanders may have won the straw poll, but I know that we can and will win this caucus! Our campaign has momentum, and we will emerge victorious!

Meet Voters in Nashua, Iowa (With Tom Harkin and Chet Culver)

August 20, 2015

Meet Voters in Alta Vista, Iowa (With Tom Harkin)

Meet Voters in Porter, Minnesota (Amy Klobuchar)

Meet Voters in Hanley Falls, Minnesota (Amy Klobuchar)

August 21, 2015

Speech in Biddeford, Maine (With Deval Patrick)

Back in June, the Supreme Court upheld the right of voters to remove legislatures from the process of redistricting and appoint independent commissions to do the job. Gerrymandering has led to abuses of map-making for partisan purposes in many states-just look at Texas, or North Carolina. I am proud to say the court came to right decision in this case.

Meet Voters in Johnson City, Kansas (With Kathleen Sebelius)

Meet Voters in Hugoton, Kansas (With Kathleen Sebelius)

August 22, 2015

Meet Voters in Port St. Joe, Florida (With Gwen Graham)

August 23, 2015

Meet Voters in Blue Diamond, Nevada (With Harry Reid and Barbara Boxer)

Rally at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Las Vegas, Nevada (With Harry Reid)

I endorsed Senator Warren because she is the best candidate to draw a clear contrast with the opposition in November. She will defeat Senator Rubio, Senator Paul or Senator Moran in November, and she will serve as a trustworthy President for all Americans, Democrat, Republican or Independent.

August 24, 2015
