JOE BIDEN
PRESS RELEASE ON STEPHEN PEARCY AD

Stephen Pearcy is a great singer, and he's providing a new voice for voters who previously hadn't had one. I'm glad he's running for President. But Mr. Pearcy needs to learn that there are certain standards when it comes to campaigning. Lying is wrong. And he did lie. Last week, in an ad he released, he distorted my record saying that I would "without a doubt pass the TPP." Here is the transcript of that ad:
Quote
You must be logged in to read this quote.

Well, Mr. Pearcy needs to read my platform. I am in favor of withdrawing or renegotiating the TPP in order to halt outsourcing, and I support the same for NAFTA. Mr. Pearcy, you say all politicians do is lie. Well, don't become what you hate.

JOE BIDEN CAMPAIGN ADS SET #1

Campaign Ad for New Hampshire

In 2008, we were hit hard by the Great Recession. Thousands of us lost our jobs as factory floors fell silent. Poverty began to overtake the Granite State.

When all seemed dark, our state helped elect a team of two who worked to fix the economy.

Barack Obama and Joe Biden shaped an economic policy that helped raise unemployment. They put this state back to work and New Hampshire's economy is nearly back to normal.

Joe Biden promises to continue this trend. As President, he'll rejuvenate America's industry. He's done it before, and he'll do it again.

Joe Biden has talked to us. he knows our problems. And he's also the only candidate so far to release an extensive plan to fix the opioid crisis.

Joe Biden will fight for us in New Hampshire. He'll fight for America.

Campaign Ad for Iowa

Iowa is a great state. Part of the breadbasket. But Iowa also faces a dark side. Poverty is on the rise, and the opioid epidemic extends here.

Well, Joe Biden is here to stop that. His economic plan has balanced trade and industrial rejuvenation.

Vote for Joe Biden, because he'll stand up for the values that matter most.

Campaign Ad for Nevada

Nevada is a unique, diverse, wonderful, state. But we Nevadans face some serious problems.

First and foremost is the domestic violence issue here. Nevada's murder rate is very high. So is the per capita rate of homelessness.

Well, Joe Biden understands these issues. He'll work as President to remove illegal weapons from the streets and push for rehabilitation of criminals, to make sure recidivism cannot occur.

He'll also modernize the HUD so all of those homeless in Nevada can finally get a home.

Joe Biden understands these issues, and he understands you. He'll fight for them and fight for you, no matter the cost.

I'm Joe Biden, and I approve this message.

Joe Biden's Response To Pearcy's Attacks

Frankly, I don't know why Stephen Pearcy attacks me. I would understand if he took issue with my policies, but yet again, he lies. These aren't even lies that are possibly substantiated. Here's what Pearcy said:
Quote
You must be logged in to read this quote.
I can't and I won't speak for Senator Rubio, but I will speak for myself. My speeches ARE NOT funded by big donors! At the very beginning of my campaign, I said that while I would accept donations from larger donors, but I would never never never accept SuperPAC money, or especially donor money to give a speech. The idea is simply ludicrous. My campaign publicizes our donations and expenses to ensure transparency; not once will you see me speaking for a donor or SuperPAC. Furthermore, I'd like to remind Pearcy who instated Dodd-Frank, who worked to rebuild Wall Street. It was President Obama and I. Back to the point, to even insinuate that I would give speeches for donor money is just lazy lying and is frankly an attempt at character assassination. Stephen Pearcy, you need to get a grip on campaigning. Stop the nonsense; stop the lying!

Biden's Response to Warren's Big Banks Claims

Senator Warren continues to push ads that accuse me of supporting big banks. I'll admit it, yes I did support these banks, but this was anywhere from 17 to 37 years ago! In the past eight years as a Vice Presidential candidate and Vice President, I have done the best I can to stop the crippling hold big banks have over our nation. Furthermore, I promise to enact legislation similar to the Glass-Steagall act if elected, weakening the influence of big banks forever. I don't see Sen. Warren pushing for that.

Finally, Senator Warren, you ought to be ashamed at yourself for digging through my past to uncover votes that I cast that frankly, have been more than reversed by the legislation that the President and I have crafted.

I'm going to need an extension. !2 hours this time. I'm trying to cope with my uncle's death, so understandably, this game has been fairly low on my list of priorities.

All my condolences.

The above.
