Preferably say why it is where you stand.  I'm a bit on the fence with this one.  Lean no, because I can easily see a situation where Congress is split or D controlled while Trump is in office, and any bargain they get negotiating with Congressional Republicans is vetoed out of the budget.

No.  Budgets are a series of compromises, and if the POTUS can unilaterally knock things out, it makes compromises difficult.

The presidency needs less power not nearly unlimited legislative power. Line item veto would make a president ridiculously powerful.

     The Presidency is too powerful at this time, though I would gladly knock out some of the other powers the office has accrued and give it a line-item veto instead.
