I think someone who might make an interesting presidential candidate for Mayor of New York City (and President in 2020) is Donald Trump Jr. He's far more articulate and willing to work inside of the system than his old man, though he seems to be far closer to his father politically than Ivanka and Kushner.

I'm assuming this timeline is going follow real world events pretty closely, so I'm really curious to see how Clinton responds to the chemical weapon attacks in Syria.

Perhaps the attacks will never occur if there isn't a US President whom Assad thinks will let him get away with the attacks.

Excellent timeline! I find it very hard to see Donald jr. winning in NYC, to be honest- Trump seems to be extremely unpopular there, you can even see de Blasio gaining popularity in OTL after resisting Trump. In this timeline, I could see a Republican winning by making the race a referendum on an unpopular de Blasio, but Donald jr pretty much made it a referendum on Trump, so I don't see him doing well. Still, for plot purposes, I get why you did it.

I actually threw the suggestion out, not thinking it'd be taken (I'm thrilled it was!) The day to day details of the race weren't covered - you really can't, unless the timeline is about the individual - but I'd imagine a lot of this played out in the background. I can easily see how Don Jr. could win in this timeline.

I had a bit of an off topic request/idea for this TL.  If anyone here (or NHI) knows President Infinity, could you make a scenario for 2020 based off this TL?  I'd like to play as Baker to see if I can beat Trump in the primary (just incase Trump does win the primary in the TL). 

Just an idea is all, great job so far anyways.

I'd definitely get Infinity to play this scenario. Have Hillary as "off" so you can alternate it and have her run instead of standing down.
