"I never thought she was a great candidate,” Biden said, according to reports. “I thought I was a great candidate.”

Already posted it in the 2016 election board but yeah this was big. He might just go for it again one last time.

It seems really stupid to do this, ESPECIALLY if he is running for President. "Then why did you campaign for her", "why didn't you run", and "Have fun getting the staunch majority of the Democratic Party, of whom voted for Hillary, with this line of attack". She's not irrelevant, but when there is a Cheeto who is possibly going to be impeached for treason, or at least obstruction of justice, there are more things to focus on.

Sad, too. I really like(d) Uncle Joe.

White male entitlement enrages whenever Hillary is brought up. These losers can't deal with the factual info of Hillary winning the primary through the Democratic base(POC+woman), as they see through the BS that Biden and his cohort bring. Very disappointed to hear such a prominent Democratic politician going into the Bernie route while we have a mentally disturbed man sitting in the Oval Office.

I'm more interested in the putting this into the context of where he was... a hedge fund conference.

Biden was a good VP as good as a VP can be but really Biden is just as bad on the core issues that matter as Hillary Clinton was, possibly worse.

He, and Obama were strong supporters of the Bill Clinton regime and Biden was a Bill Clinton ally during the 1999 impeachment trial.

But, Bernie and Biden and Trump attrack more blue collar white males than Hillary.

I like Biden, but he's got to stop doing this. It's over, he made a conscious choice not to run. If he runs in 2020 I'll definitely vote for him if he wins the primary, but stop digging up the past. It feels like every other month he disses Hillary; it doesn't do anybody any good and it makes him look petty.

Uncle Joe is absolutely right. He should have run in 2016. With Obama's support, he would have won the nomination and then beat the Donald.

I thought most insider accounts said Obama actually preferred Hillary for president, which is why he didn't really want Joe to run.

I always thought Obama and Biden bonded better than Obama and Clinton, to be perfectly honest. Do you remember where you found this?

Trump like Dubya was underestimated by the Dems in this campaign. Certainly, Biden, Obama and both Bill and Hillary and Kaine.

But, Pennsylvania was the key to the election and if Clinton would have won PA and Iowa, she would won.  And the Obama WH supported Kate McGinty over Sestak who was the better candidate.

She'd still be short by 10 electoral votes.

I doubt Obama preferred Hillary for political/personal reasons. If so, only to avoid dividing the party or splitting the non-Bernie vote (though Bernie wasn't expected to be so strong by the fall of 2015). But Obama has a far better personal relationship with Joe than with Hillary.
