Fantastic. Biden is roasting him and probably polling a solid 5-10 points ahead. Ryan is a piece of sh**t but unlike Trump he isn't charismatic and running against a lifeless Democratic candidate.

Confident knowing that Trump would not run for re-election if, and only if
A) The Russiagate-Watergate metaphor goes all the way.
B) He's so unpopular that even he can see he won't win re-election

In both cases Biden is about to crush Ryan in the Election and the Dems will likely hold both Chambers of Congress.

But how does Ryan get there? Trump gets impeached, Pence appoints Ryan VP and then dies or resigns for health reasons? (No, I don't see Pence breaking the law to justify an impeachment. Pence is a political HP, but he's not dumb).

Simpler: Trump has Pence over for a lunch, but the White House chef poisons them, and they drop dead.  Ryan takes over as prez, since he's Speaker of the House.

Or alternatively, FBI Director Joe Lieberman becomes dissatisfied with Trump's foreign policy, and decides to blackmail both Trump and Pence out of running again with doctored photos of a love affair between them.

Surprised.

And hopeful that Biden can win, since any scenario where Ryan ends up as the nominee is going to be a disaster for Republicans.

Hello, Speaker CXSnith (Labor-MA), look in your messages, you received many new messages. I think it's urgent.

Huh?

Anyway, great! Former Speaker Paul Ryan(presumably retires his House seat in 2018) would be a good President, as would Joe Biden.
