Four years after narrowly losing the governor race to Ron DeSantis, Andrew Gilum decided to run for U.S Senate to challenge incumbent Republican Senator Marco Rubio. Gilum ends up winning the Democratic nomination.

Who wins and what does the map look like?

Trump Midterm:
Gillum wins by 2-3, carrying all of the competitive Southern Florida counties despite Cuban resistance. Wins Duval, and the Tampa area. Rubio's rural and retiree turnout is noticeably lower than DeSantis.

Harris/Booker/Warren/Gillibrand Midterm

Gillum chokes again, this time by more despite a polling edge. Rubio wins by 4. Carries Hillsborough, Duval, and Monroe.
