How many times do you remember to pray?

I try to pray at least once every day, sometimes twice. Usually right before I go to sleep.

"Casually," maybe three to four times per week.  "Formally," maybe once every other week.  The definitions are kind of confusing for me, too.

This, as well as before I eat.

This is stupid, but I usually only pray when I can't find my wallet or keys. After I pray I almost immediately find it. This has now worked more than 20 times in a row I'm not even exaggerating. I haven't lost my wallet or keys for a good 5-6 years when I used to lose it several times per year.

Does being a lapsed Roman Catholic who doesn't practice count as being Christian?

The answer to the original poster's question is zero.

I don't pray to the invisible omnipotent douchebag from the Old Testament.

Neither do most Christians.

I try to pray some of the Book of Common Prayer daily. Usually morning prayer on the bus to work, evening prayer on the bus ride home and compline before bed. I've been semi consistent about it.

Formally once a day, "informally" or extemporaneously whenever I feel it's appropriate.

I don't pray to the invisible omnipotent douchebag from the Old Testament.

A hot take! The hottest of takes!

Are you using the Anglican BCP or is there a Presbyterian text of the same title that I'm unfamiliar with?

Same, although I find the Orthodox idea of "unceasing prayer" appealing.

I use the Book of Common Prayer.

There is a Presbyterian 'Book of Common Worship' which is basically the BCP with the more Catholic bits removed, and the format of the sacraments changed to fit our tradition, but I haven't been able to find a mobile friendly version of it.

So, Donald Trump is God now?

At least a good 5-6 times a day. I usually pray the rosary a few times a month and attend mass at least once a week.

Does the title of this thread imply a superiority of Christians over all other religions?
It seems to imply that it doesn't matter if non-Christians pray.

What do you all think of the idea that only Christians will make it to heaven?

Personally, I would not want to go to "heaven" if only Christians are there.

Spending eternity with Jerry Falwell, Donald Trump, John Calvin, Roy Moore, Jim Jones etc.
is a fate worse the spending an eternity in the lowest hell.
