What are his chances to win Democratic nomination ?
As alluded to above, bad, in large part due to his age. He could be a brokered convention compromise candidate with a young, progressive (or progressive-ish) VP.

A more credentialed Joakim Castro. Beto O'Rourke if he pulls a miracle over Cruz. Kirsten Gillibrand. Jason Kander if he had won his Senate race.

I've run the largest state in the country for over a decade cumulatively. Experience, experience, experience.

Poor. Voters seem not to really care about experience and tend to prefer charisma. Brown has the former in spades, but relatively little of the latter.

He won't run due to his age, though I really admire our governor.

What are his chances to win Democratic nomination ?

- Depends on the other candidates. I wouldn't rule it out that he wins it nomination, but he wouldn't start as the clear frontrunner.

Who should be his running-mate ?

- Some names that would make sense: Kirsten Gillibrand, Amy Klobuchar, Julian Castro, Cory Booker or Martin Heinrich

What du you expect will be his programm ?

- Average Democratic on social and most economic issues with a streak of fiscal discipline, a strong focus on climate change and green energy, electoral reform (end gerrymandering) as well as campaign finance reform.

What could be his performance in GE ?

- Against Trump? 60% chance he wins. Against Pence? 70% wining chance. He would likely win back MI, PA and probably WI. Good chance he carries FL as well. Strongly competitive in AZ and a 35% chance for OH.

What are his strengths and weaknesses ?

- Pros: Longtime experience in government and a strong gubernatorial record, a decent man with no scandals. Cons: Age, only an average speaker/campaigner

We're 40 years too late, I'm afraid. Sad
