no, because that would almost certainly be inviting war.

Not as long as our relationship with Russia is the way it is.

If the other alliance members would agree that they would actually support an Article 5 collective action if either Georgia and Ukraine were attacked I'd say yes, but right now I doubt you could get NATO members to agree to that. So no, for now.

Yes, we should do everything in our power to stop Russian aggression into Eastern Europe.

Probably not, especially with the ongoing border disputes. If Ukraine were to be admitted and Russia took no effort to withdraw from Crimea, would that then constitute war against a NATO power, evem though the initial dispute started before Ukraine's ascension?

No, but more economic and defense assistance should be provided to Ukraine.

This is obviously the correct answer.

I definitely think Ukraine should.  Georgia, maybe.
I think the case for Georgia is much clearer than the case for Ukraine. Georgia hasn't seen war for almost a decade and merely needs to be protected against new Russian acts of hostility. The country also became much less corrupt under Saakashvili and is slowly but surely becoming a successful democracy under the Georgian Dream government. Ukraine, on the other hand, is currently in conflict with Russia, which is a much bigger risk for NATO. The political situation remains relatively unstable and corruption is entrenched.

Yes in theory, but only if we interpret Article 5 in a way that doesn't obligate us to go to war with Russia to "maintain national sovereignty" in areas of those nations that Russia/Russian aligned actors currently occupy.

No, we can't let members join that would either be a massive liability or would make people ignore Article 5. Moldavia and Azerbaijan are also problematic.
