No. Unless Montana gets a second CD and he runs for the western one, he should stay where he is.

No. Montana has plenty of other Democrats who would be much better options.

No.

Develop the bench! Start recruiting that 18yo who flipped a state house district on the Hi-Line to run for a row office in 2028!

No, because I think it's been established he's a dreadful candidate.

No. But if he really wants to hold elected office, perhaps he could run for State House or State Senate, or maybe a second-tier statewide office.

Nah, he's a great musician and a decent enough person but unfortunately he's not a great political candidate. Montana Democrats have better options.

He'll probably run again in 2018 for the House seat. If he doesn't, I could see him try to primary Tester in the Senate race.

imo Quist should just throw in the towel, or maybe run for a seat in the legislature. He has too much baggage to mount another high-profile statewide campaign.

Why did Tester think he was so great in the first place?

No way. The Montana Democratic Party absolutely screwed the pooch in going for Quist instead of Curtis, and I say that as someone who was initially totally convinced Quist would be a star candidate.
