HP and still is. Jez from Peep Show would be a better leader.

Do you dislike his foreign policy statements?

That and his tankie-esque ness

Too far left for my tastes, but a FF for bringing May down a notch.

Flaws aside, I think he does more than anyone else to rekindle hope.

For the last few years, decades even, the route the world has been taking has only been cause for despair. But since Thursday evening, well let me say that there is a little spark of hope that hasn't been there in a long time.

Even the most cautious optimism, it's a weird feeling.

I'd never vote for the guy, but I don't have to. Being nice to terrorists is a no-no, but at least he's not in power, FF.

I'm still deeply skeptical of him mostly for the same reasons our Jewish blue avatars hate him, but I'm also, for the moment, surprised and impressed by him. In a few more months we'll hopefully be better able to see how he does with the party more firmly behind him and I'll be more comfortable making a judgment then.

Sure. My only issue with him (aside from what Nathan brings up, which is genuinely concerning but I'm willing to give him the benefit of doubt on) was that I thought he was an inept campaigner unable to speak to the general public and would condemn Labour to irrelevancy. I'm ready to admit that I was utterly wrong about that.

FF, thought I disagree with him on issues such as Trident, as well as his lukewarm support for "Remain".

Going from trailing by 25% to make significant gains while also denying Tories a majority is quite a feat.

^This exactly. At first, I thought he was going to doom Labour to a nasty and lengthy minority in Pariament (e.g. the Tories faring against Blair). I'm glad I was wrong in that assessment.

My electoral objection to him is clearly gone; I always thought at best we'd get 34% on an extremely good day but to win seats like Canterbury; and to actually allow Labour to win in 2018/2022 he deserves serious credit.

My moral objection to him still stands; not a big of fan of him appearing on RT, or Press TV

Literally the worst ever. The 2017 UK general election probably is the most depressing election ever.

This.  Massive HP, and that May was unable to dispatch him handily makes me now dislike her as well.

This. I totally agree
