How #moderate of you!

Anyway, I'm not really sure. Probably all the Republicans (in most cases reluctantly), but I'm definitely "endorsing" the Democratic candidate (ideally Stefany Shaheen or Edith DesMarais) in NH because Sununu really needs to go.

I will make mine 1 month before election day, but it will be mostly Democratic (about 30 states) plus Baker, Scott (VT), may be Sununu, Hogan, Buehler and 1-2 more moderate Republicans. This year - Murphy and Northam...

She’s an ex-Democrat, but she’s close to the center than I am. She’s running as a Clean Elections candidate, seeks to get money out of politics, and is a bit of a technocrat.

She’s not as far left as me, but she’s a good person, extremely smart and fed up with the two party system and gridlock in Maine, which the other Democratic candidates (not Sweet) have gleefully partaken in.

AL: No Endorsement At This Time
AK: Bill Walker, I-AK (I would consider backing Mark Begich, D-AK, or the non-Senator Dan Sullivan, R-AK, if either run)
AR: Asa Hutchinson, R-AR
AZ: Doug Ducey, R-AZ
CA: Gavin Newsom, D-CA
CO: Cynthia Coffman, R-CO or Walker Stapleton, R-CO would be fine.
CT: No Endorsement At This Time (Will likely back the GOP Nominee)
FL: Adam Putnam, R-FL (but this may change to Ron DeSantis, R-FL if he decides to run)
GA: Casey Cagle, R-GA
HI: Who Cares? (R-HI)
ID: Brad Little, R-ID (#StopLabrador)
IL: Bruce Rauner, R-IL
IA: Kim Reynolds, R-IA
KS: No Endorsement At This Time
ME: Mike Thibodeau, R-ME (But I am also interested in learning more about Garrett Mason, R-ME, who is also running, and Roger Katz, R-ME if he runs)
MD: Larry Hogan, R-MD
MA: Charlie Baker, R-MA (Prob one of the few republicans that I'll complain about being too moderate in 2018, but he's still a FF and deserves party support)
MI: Bill Schuette, R-MI, I guess. (Hoping Brian Calley, R-MI runs, though!)
MN: Jeff Johnson, R-MN did a decent job of keeping things close in 2014 so I guess I'll support him in 2018.
NE: No Endorsement At This Time (Looking into Bob Krist's Independent run)
NV: Adam Laxalt, R-NV (excited about his candidacy. One of the few 2018 candidates I really, really like)
NH: No Endorsement At This Time
NM: Steve Pearce, R-NM (not a huge fan, but whatever)
NY: No Endorsement At This Time (If Pataki's former CoS, John Cahill, R-NY, runs I'll back him)
OH: Mary Taylor, R-OH (Like Laxalt, I'm very excited about Taylor)
OK: Mick Cornett, R-OK
OR: Who Cares? (R-OR)
PA: No Endorsement At This Time. Mike Turzai, R-PA looks promising but I also want to look into Paul Mango, R-PA, because a friend of mine knows him and has a lot of good things to say about him.
RI: Allan Fung, R-RI
SC: Henry McMaster, R-SC
SD: Kristi Noem, R-SD, of course! Probs my favorite candidate for governor in 2018
TN: Diane Black, R-TN
TX: Greg Abbott, R-TX
VT: Phil Scott, R-VT
WI: Scott Walker, R-WI, of course.
WY: The Republican, R-WY

In AL, I was planning on supporting Kay Ivey but her support for Roy Moore in light of the allegations is very disturbing. Not sure if I will have any options in AL for 2018.

In CT, I'm interested in the candidacy of David M. Walker, R-CT, but do not know enough about him to take a stand at this moment.

In HI, I really don't care as long as the GOP Nominee is sane and/or not a criminal.

In KS, I'm really not happy with the direction of the KS GOP. Kobach is awful, Colyer is only somewhat better and Brownback leaving does not do much to make the KS GOP look more competent. Carl Brewer is too liberal for my tastes, but Josh Svaty would be acceptable to me, though. I'm hoping Colyer or another R can prove themselves but for now I'm not supporting anyone.

In NE, I never really liked Gov. Ricketts as a candidate or Governor. Bob Krist is an interesting potential choice but I need to do more research. If Krist seems like McMuffin 2.0 then I will back Ricketts, most likely.

In NH, I am not a big fan of the Sununu family's politics. I never really picked a candidate to support in 2016's race, but Chris Sununu would really need to wow me to win me over.

In NY, I've been souring on Andrew Cuomo for the past year or so and I can't back him in 2018 anymore. He's moved too much to the left and, more importantly, the allegations about his office covering up sexual harassment is very bad. I supported him in 2010, Astorino in 2014.

In OR, I really don't care as long as the GOP Nominee is sane and/or not a criminal.

In PA, Turzai and Mango are possibly promising. Wagner is an idiot and would not get my support if he's the nominee.

In WY, I really don't care as long as the GOP Nominee is sane and/or not a criminal.
