It's been established that 1. Time Lords can change their sex and 2. they are not in control of their regeneration (as evidenced by every new Doctor starting off by checking out and marveling at their new features). That being so, it's becoming increasingly implausible that he ends up male every time.

The doctor isn't in control, others are. Romana, River Song (though only partial time lord), so that's bunk. It'll probably be a male anyways, BBC won't want that kind of change. It was always Moffatt who was pushing it, not anyone else.

It's gotten so post modern I am jaded now on how the show has gotten.

The speech on capitalism in Oxygen was sh!te - but when Capaldi and Mackie showed at the Resistance sponsored marches I figured the season would be one long virtue signal. For the most part I was right though I still appreciate aspects of the 2 main characters and occasional decent scenes.

I have no issue with Gomez as the Master - better than the last guy.

At this point I watch more for completist sake but if given the choice I would rather have all missing episodes found than have the show further retconned to death on gender identity, identity politics, moral relativism, and revisionism. Leave that to Class and Captain Jack and the adult oriented shows.
