The death penalty poll is strange ...

The last poll I saw here had support at 14% and this poll has it at 26% (with another 15% mixed).

Which still makes Austria the country with the lowest death penalty support in the EU.

I guess the high level in countries like Belgium, UK and France might have something to do with the recent terror cases ...

I think the way the death penalty question is worded will tend to lead to a higher level of support for the death penalty. Same with the first question, which seems very loaded.

Pretty depressing numbers about Muslim immigration - the fact that the UK is among the more liberal on the question is downright scary.
