Voted Neutral....

As Badger posted on a similar poll elsewhere, that there is an informal rule on Atlas not to directly comment on these types of polls towards other posters.

I proposed a new Atlas rule.... that individuals should not vote FF, when their own name is on the ballot.

Naturally, we are all curious about how we are viewed overall by our peers on the Forum, so I present a motion going forward that anyone posting these types of polls should at least provide a Neutral/No Opinion option, so that we can effectively abstain from voting, so as not to contaminate the results if our name is listed (Outside of Fantasy Elections naturally).

Actually I think it was Nathan.

My own "rule" is "don't be a dick and derail the thread by bickering with people who post HP opinions".

Bump....

Not enough votes to meet a minimum threshold for potential nomination for Atlasian Elections.

I am well aware that I am nowhere close to the best poster on Atlas, and have very little name recognition overall.

I fully accept the votes from the Jury of my Peers, regardless of how y'all choose to vote collectively based upon my posting history, overall contribution to the Forum, and whatever personal issues some of you might have had, based upon our previous Forum interactions.

I humbly submit and am more than willing to accept the outcome of the votes, but at this point the Jury is well and truly out....

Bump....

At the high risk of now being considered an extreme narcissist and egoistic self-absorbed maniac, once again I will present myself to the jury of my peers to make their own choices and decisions regarding the quality, content, and character of my overall contribution to Atlas.

I recognize that likely I may have made a few enemies with Red and Blue avatars alike, as well as other colored avatars.

Still, it is now in the 3rd quarter of Atlas, so I will humbly accept the Atlas review in front of a jury of my peers....

I doubt I agree with him on much of anything, but he is valuable to the forum with his strong data-driven post and has led some interesting analyses of the 2016 election.  Voted FF.

Definitely----  I believe that is exactly what my shrink said to me three months ago.....  Wink

It definitely involved something to the effect of an externalization syndrome, caused from early Childhood parenting issues, and created an extremely obsessive compulsive personality disorder, that later manifested in my Teens and Early '20s into collection of all types of election data at a time where it was not available.

Later in life years after my first Divorce, I chose to reenter the world of my youth to find acceptance in the only place that would accept me, Atlas Forum.

Whoah--- wait- what---- did I just reinforce my fake shrinks diagnosis?Huh

Actually, I did use dramatic and rhetorical flourishes on the bump, but reality is that starting in '07,  I started getting back into an old hobby of mine which was detailed level election data, and this place was hopping back then, and unfortunately I miss considerably some of those posters that don't or rarely post these days anymore because of the data driven analysis....

Still, sometimes one can't always be employed in a job or profession which most closely aligns with one's hobbies or interests, but still desire to contribute to the body of knowledge, rather than subtract from it.

Bump....

Sigh, time for my annual Atlas Review from the Jury of my Peers.

Not a big fan of these types of threads, but as always I welcome feedback both positive and negative, since after all you are my internal customers, fellow contributors and collaborators, as well as the "external customers" that lurk with guest accounts.

Tell me how you think I am doing, what you like and dislike about my posts. What I do well at, what I don't do well at, where I need to improve my performance, and where I can accentuate my strengths and improve on my weaknesses.

Go.... Feedback loop is important in Atlas, just as in a Professional work environment, and I'm a few Months over my annual performance review.
