Since Generic Moderate didn't post anything, I'll post a map that somebody might be able to decipher.

Trump re-elex but a Texas secessionist campaign spoils his vote there

Alaska doesn't vote, for bonus points, guess why.

Senator John Edwards(D-NC)/Senator Tim Johnson(D-SD) VS Governor Christine Todd Whitman (R-NJ)/ Governor John Engler (R-MI) and Alaska doesn't vote because this is a universe where the Alaska Independence Party's goal of Alaska secession is successful

No, it's actually 2016 if Clinton won every state where there is a town of Clinton, a Clinton County, or Clinton Township, and Trump won all the states where there isn't.

1996: Gov. Bill Clinton (D-AR) / Fmr. Gov. Joan Finney (D-KS) defeats Gov. Bill Weld (R-MA) / Sen. Slade Gorton (R-WA).

The incumbent POTUS is George H. W. Bush, who held on in 1992 against Jerry Brown.
