How in the world does Hogan signing a moderate gun control bill equal a sign of weakness lol. He’s doing what he always has: picking his battles wisely so as not to rock the boat, and only fighting when he knows he can win. Hogan isn’t the virtue signaling type, everyone already knows that. If a bill will get passed anyway he just signs it and moves on.

He'll probably still be on the ballot, yeah. I think Jealous benefits from this, since he lives in the Baltimore suburb of Anne Arundel County, and he his main ties to the state are in the Baltimore area. I still think Baker will pull most of Kamenetz's support though.
