States have to have a democratic form of governance. But when and why does it cross the line?
Consider:
There is no reason a state cannot have a parliamentary form of governance.
There is no lower limit on how many legislators there may be.
There is no upper limit on how long terms may be.
So, in theory, you could have a state with a parliament, 1 rep, and 1000 year terms. A dictatorship, but why?
