Trump is less popular than Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin in much of the world, according to this Pew poll:

http://www.pewglobal.org/2017/06/26/u-s-image-suffers-as-publics-around-world-question-trumps-leadership/

Here are the #s on Trump in particular:

Though he does better among those on the political right:

Here’s the arc of US presidential popularity in Western Europe:

Here's the favorability of the US as a whole:

And here’s how that’s changed worldwide since last year:

And here’s the trend in Canada and Mexico…note that this is the first time since this poll started back in 2002 that under 50% of Canadians have a favorable view of the US:

And finally, here are people’s views of the American people:

The United States has a misogynistic narcissist with zero self-control as president, while its legislature is working very hard to secure the necessary votes to make healthcare worse for its citizenry. Of couse the world is laughing at America right now. Vladimir Putin may be a bordering on being a full-on sociopath, but at least you need to respect him.

A U.S. President having mere 23% approvals in Poland. The times they are changin'

I suspect Xi has only 4% approvals here because most of the people have no clue who he is.

Has Trump ever mentioned Spain? 92% against him there is more amazing than 93% against him in Mexico, which he hasn't been too kind to.

While Trump’s numbers are rather poor, they are actually an improvement for him over the same poll from last year, when he was just candidate Trump:

http://www.pewglobal.org/2016/06/29/2-obamas-international-image-remains-strong-in-europe-and-asia/

At least (unlike last year) he’s now more popular than Putin in The Netherlands, Australia, Canada, the UK, and India.

In last year's poll, not this year's poll.  China wasn't included in this year's poll.

What's up with Tanzania loving everyone?

Sad to Canadians' views of the US tank so much, but at least we still love Americans as whole. Though, my favourite Americans are the one's who emigrate to Canada. Smiley

Good. No apology tours needed. If they don't like it, too bad.

I agree. Hopefully this forces Europe to unite because it is clear that the American people can not be trusted to vote for sensible leadership.

Map of who is rated highest by country among the four polled. Some interesting results - Putin first in Turkey and Greece, for example:

Trump

The polling Pew has done in Greece for the last few years has consistently shown them souring on all Western European leaders, and actually giving Putin higher marks than his counterparts in the West.  Note that (in stark contrast to most of the rest of Europe) the Greeks also rated Putin higher than Obama in last year's poll.

On the flip side, while the Greeks aren't high on Trump or any other Western leader, they are less likely than other European countries to describe him as "arrogant", "intolerant", and "dangerous":

I think most of the people in all these African countries have no clue who he is either. Maybe people in Poland dislike Xi because he's viewed as Putin ally?

Already looking forward to president Warren's European walk of shame in 2021 ("We really won't do it again guys! We promise!").

Well, there goes a whole bunch of America's soft power into the drain.
