I'm starting to think that Satan is really the lesser of two evils.

Satan doesn't tell people what to do with a long list of rules and he hasn't killed millions of people. He doesn't tell you to not use his name is vain and he doesn't go around putting curses on individuals.

God is basically a police officer in deity form.

Meanwhile, Satan is Gods enemy and he wants to crash the party. God knows who Satan is so he won't get in. But Satan would try to send one of his followers to do his dirty work for him. In Gods situation, would you allow for a soldier of your enemy to enter your house? No. If you are a follower of the Evil One, you would be better off at his house

People a lot smarter than me have spent way more time thinking about these things than I have, anything I say is unimportant and probably wrong.  It's for the best that none of us waste our time typing it or reading it.  Good day.

I like Carling for his political view but he is blaming God for our mess when man is the cause.

As a Gnostic Christian, I see reality a bit differently.

 Gnostic Christian Jesus said, "If those who attract you say, 'See, the Kingdom is in the sky,' then the birds of the sky will precede you.
If they say to you, 'It is under the earth,' then the fish of the sea will precede you.
Rather, the Kingdom of God is inside of you, and it is outside of you.

One thing you can count on is that every Gnostic Christian will agree that Yahweh is a genocidal son murderer and that Satan has  a better set of morals than him. We were calling Yahweh a vile demiurge 2,000 years ago.

How time flies. Now we have two arch enemies. Nice that they cannot kill us with impunity thanks to a corrupt government like in our hay day.

Both Christianity and Islam have basically developed into intolerant, homophobic and misogynous religions. Both religions have grown themselves by the sword instead of good deeds and continue with their immoral ways in spite of secular law showing them the moral ways.

Jesus said we would know his people by their works and deeds. That means Jesus would not recognize Christians and Muslims as his people, and neither do I. Jesus would call Christianity and Islam abominations.

Gnostic Christians did in the past, and I am proudly continuing that tradition and honest irrefutable evaluation based on morality.

We do not know much of that mythical Satan, but she cannot possibly be more evil than God.

Remember that all the evil that exists emanated from God and if he kept his nature intact and gave Satan a new batch of evil, which he did, mythically speaking, so that would mean that God still has more evil in him than Satan.

That is why that prick seems like such an evil prick. That is what he is and that is why Gnostic Christians say that humans are better in many ways, and particularly morals. That is why secular law is so much better than Yahweh's law.

Can you tell us why Satan, if just an accuser, would be gifted the power to deceive the whole world, from God's own being?
