I just tried my first cigarette and hated it. My throat feels weird. I'm never doing that again.

But it begs the question, how many atlasians smoke cigarettes?

I'm in the slow process of quitting.  I'm down to 4-8 a day.

Nope. Never smoked a cigarette, vaped, or tried a hookah before. I tried a very small amount of pot once, but must not have been enough because I didn't feel anything.

Quit February 20th, 2016. I was a regular smoker from about halfway through my freshman year to halfway through my junior year. That said, I have had maybe ten cigarette since then. My last one was December 31st, 2016.

No. I'm a convinced nonsmoker. I occasionally smoked hookah when I lived in Dubai (before 2010). Maybe three or four times a year. Though I've never smoked a cigarette throughout in my life and do not intend to.

Still smoke when I drink, and occasionally when I don't. Parliaments if I just buy them at a gas station, 555s or Nat Sherman Naturals if I go to a tobacco shop. Always buy a carton of Lucky Strikes at the duty-free when I'm abroad. I love smoking, I just mostly quit for my health.

Love a good cigar on Fridays, too.

Never smoked anything, never used drugs, never had alcohol (and never plan to do any of the three)

I smoked when I was an #edgyteenager who wanted to be "cool" and I quit when I was like 17. I smoked probably like 4 or 5 cigarettes last year because a friend left a pack at my apartment and I was really depressed so I asked if I could have them and she said yes. It was gross and I hated every second of it.

Glad I quit because it's a filthy habit and everything people say about cigarettes is true. Cigars, on the other hand, are quite nice at the right times.

You should also never plan to have sex, because the world doesn't need your genetic code passed on.

Sometimes socially, or when I'm stressed out.

Not a fan of cigars, but sometimes partake in other, "greener" means of smoking.

Thank goodness. Nicotine is one of the most addictive and evilest substances on the planet.

Now you know my answer to your question.

hyperbole much?  Nicotine isn't bad for you (no more so than say, caffeine).  It's everything else in cigs that messes you up.  It's addicting for sure, though not sure if it's the "most" addicting substance...I hear benzos can be a bitch to kick.

I don't smoke but have tried a couple cigarettes before perhaps 20 years ago. And a few cigars.

When I lived in Japan I would occasionally partake in weed or hash but not more than once or twice a month. I quit that about 15 years ago. I also tried mushrooms once when they were still legal incidentally on a camping trip. Not really a good experience. Way too long of an effect.

I still drink a lot of coffee usually only on weekdays.

I will have on average 2-3 alcoholic drinks a month. I had a couple bad binges with alcohol in my early/mid 20s so that's why I am a lot more careful about my limit.

Never cigarettes or vaping or any drug. I have smoked cigars a handful or two of times, but I really don't do it often. After I smoke one though, I start to get itchy for another one, so I really have to be careful.

I'd suggest a few more puffs.......your menopausal rantings have been ramped up lately.
