Biden doesn't do as well with Hillary with black women because of Anita Hill.

I think Biden is the strongest establishment candidate if they can coalesce around him early but he is a terrible campaigner & a gaffe machine. Sanders ran one of the best campaigns in modern history winning 46% of the pledged delegates against Hillary & the entire Democratic party with massive institutional & processes hurdles.

I don't know if Biden can be an inspiring, unifying candidate. 2020 will be an all-out war if Sanders runs. I see Trump winning again if Sanders runs & loses the Dem nomination because this time Bernie supporters will not vote quietly for Hillary. There is no way 2 losses will be accepted !

I also think the wave of populism and protectionism that Sanders and Trump rode will have receded by 2020. I expect the excitement over Sanders to die down over the next few years, while establishment Dems like Joe will last forever. Maybe I'm just being too pessimistic, and the desire for a social democrat like Sanders will be sustained through the next election.
