I'm really worried about turning 30 tomorrow and officially becoming an old person ...

Well, I think 30 is not old at all (I'm gonna turn 30 in July next year). Actually a very good age. At 30, you are usually still vital and healthy, but with some life experience, more self-confidence, a more mature personality and usually an own living. All compared to 20.

I was put into school at a relatively early age, so I may have the privilege of watching all my friends die before me. Smiley

As a 31 yo, I can honestly say that so far my 30s have been healthier, more fun, more energized, and generally more happier than my 20s.

On the bright side, the older you get, the more likely a court is to accept a senility plea when all the people locked in your basement are discovered.

Hey, young pup, I'm 35 and while I feel old most of the time, mostly in terms of culture, I have actually gotten quite a bit healthier in the last 16 months thanks to losing nearly 80 pounds.  I actually think my body has gotten younger in the last year and a half even as my biological age continues to increase.

I feel much healthier at 35, and even younger, than I ever did in my early 30's.  If you can keep yourself healthy and feeling young, you'll be alright.

Don't worry, Kal.  Update will be confined to AAD.  There will be none of that here.

So I get to spend the other half of my 20's without you? Sounds good.

You were born on July 10th? If so, you are exactly two weeks older than I am. I can't say I'm coping with the idea of turning 30 very well though. Sad
